Lauren London

Lauren London has two sons. Her first son, Kameron Carter, was born on September 9, 2009, during her relationship with rapper Lil Wayne. London said she met Lil Wayne when she was 15, and the pair dated on and off before briefly becoming engaged and eventually separating.

London began dating rapper Nipsey Hussle in 2013. Their son, Kross Ermias Asghedom, was born on August 31, 2016. London and Hussle separated briefly in 2017 before appearing together again in 2018, and they remained together until Hussle was killed on March 31, 2019.

London was born and raised in Los Angeles to an African-American mother and an Ashkenazi Jewish father. She attended Palisades Charter High School into her second year before continuing her education through homeschooling.

London has spoken about feeling caught between communities while growing up. She later explored her Jewish heritage more deeply while filming the 2023 Netflix comedy You People, in which she played Amira Mohammed.

London began appearing in music videos for artists including Pharrell Williams, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and Tyrese. She made her television debut in a 2006 episode of Everybody Hates Chris and made her film debut that same year as Erin “New New” Garnett in ATL, opposite T.I.

Her performance in ATL earned her a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role at the Black Movie Awards. The role led to her being cast in This Christmas in 2007 without an audition. She also appeared as Kelly, Turtle’s love interest, in HBO’s Entourage and became a spokesmodel for Sean John’s women’s collection.

London played Christina Worthy in 90210 and appeared in recurring roles on Single Ladies. Her film credits from this period include I Love You, Beth Cooper, Next Day Air, Madea's Big Happy Family, Baggage Claim, and The Perfect Match.

She joined The Game as a series regular, playing former child star Keira Whitaker across the show's later seasons. In 2019, she took the lead role of Vanessa King in the BET series Games People Play. Her subsequent screen work included Without Remorse, True Story, and the Netflix comedy You People. In 2022, she collaborated with PUMA on the Los Angeles-inspired “L.A. Love Story” collection, which featured references to Nipsey Hussle.
