Bharti Singh

Bharti Singh was born in Amritsar, Punjab, and grew up in a Punjabi family. Her father died when she was two years old, and she has an older brother and sister. She studied at BBK DAV College for Women in Amritsar and completed postgraduate studies in history.

Singh developed an interest in performance alongside sporting achievements. She has been nationally ranked in archery and pistol shooting, and has received gold medals in both disciplines.

Singh began her television career in 2008 as a contestant on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, where she finished as the second runner-up. Her child character Lalli received critical acclaim and became closely associated with her comedy persona. She subsequently appeared in several seasons of Comedy Circus and won recognition for her comic performances.

Her television work expanded into acting, hosting and judging. She appeared in Pyaar Mein Twist in 2011 and hosted India's Got Talent from 2014 through 2016 before returning for its eighth season. She also co-hosted Comedy Nights Bachao with Krishna Abhishek and appeared as Titli Yadav and other characters on The Kapil Sharma Show, where she was featured across 123 episodes between 2017 and 2021.

Singh has participated in several reality programs, including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Nach Baliye 8 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. In Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India, she finished as the fourth runner-up. She later hosted Hum Tum Aur Quarantine, Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan, Dance Deewane and Laughter Chefs.

Her film debut came with the Punjabi film Ek Noor in 2011. Her subsequent screen credits include Khiladi 786, Yamle Jatt Yamle, Rangan Style, Sanam Re, Mundeyan Ton Bachke Rahin and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Singh also received a writing credit for Bharti Ka Show: Ana Hi Padega.

In 2019, Singh appeared on Khatra Khatra Khatra, a comedy program conceptualized by her and Haarsh Limbachiyaa for Colors TV. The show combined comic performances with entertainment-based challenges and became one of the prominent projects associated with their television partnership.

Singh and Limbachiyaa also hosted programs together including Hum Tum Aur Quarantine, India's Best Dancer and The Khatra Khatra Show. Their joint television work extended into Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan, where they hosted alongside judges including Parineeti Chopra and Mithun Chakraborty.

Singh married writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa on 3 December 2017. The couple participated together in Nach Baliye 8 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.

Their first child, a son named Laksh Singh Limbachiyaa, was born on 3 April 2022. Their second son, Yashveer, was born on 19 December 2025.

On 21 November 2020, the Narcotics Control Bureau searched Singh's residence and recovered 86.5 grams of cannabis. Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa were taken in for questioning and arrested by the bureau.

They were granted bail on 23 November 2020 after two days of interrogation. In October 2022, the Mumbai unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau filed a 200-page chargesheet against the couple in the case.
