Cinna

Cinna was raised by her father alongside her sister after her parents separated. Her father, who streams on Twitch as Blakkhoodie, introduced her to video games and played Call of Duty with her during childhood.

Cinna has described her heritage as mixed, with a Black father and a mother who is Japanese and White. She has also spoken about having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Before streaming became her full-time career, Cinna studied aerospace engineering and had to choose between completing the program and pursuing online content creation. She also worked several jobs, including serving at McDonald's and spending three years at a restoration company that handled homes affected by mold, fires and other difficult scenes.

Her YouTube channel dates to 2012, while she launched her Twitch channel in March 2018. She initially streamed games such as Fortnite, but an inconsistent schedule made it difficult to build a loyal audience. In late 2021, she began streaming full time and adopted an early-afternoon schedule.

Cinna became best known for using Twitch's "Just Chatting" directory, where conversation and direct interaction with viewers are central to the broadcast. She also streams a variety of games, including Super Mario 64, rather than tying her identity to one title.

Her audience growth has been supported by short clips and highlights shared on TikTok and YouTube. Cinna also hosts a Discord server where fans can communicate in real time, and one of her distinctive channel emotes is based on Tom Nook from Animal Crossing.

Cinna has collaborated with streamers including Pokimane, Mizkif, Valkyrae, Emiru, Duke Dennis and Agent 00. A collaborative stream with Agent 00 in July 2024 attracted more than 38,000 live viewers, marking a major audience milestone.

She won the Sapphire Award for Best Female Streamer in December 2024 and won the award again in December 2025. In March 2025, she appeared as a contestant on Inside, a reality competition show created and hosted by the Sidemen.

In February 2025, Cinna and Valkyrae began a week-long IRL streaming marathon in Los Angeles called Sis-A-Thon. The event had originally been planned for January but was postponed because of Southern California wildfires.

During the final night at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, Cinna, Valkyrae and their guest Emiru were approached repeatedly by a man who became aggressive after Emiru declined to give him her phone number. He threatened the streamers, and Cinna's cameraman Rosii held him back while park security and police were contacted. The marathon ended early, and Cinna and Valkyrae later addressed the incident in a livestream.
