Adams was born and raised in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas, where he attended Clear Lake High School. In April 2026, he announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, content creator and streamer Tiffanobi.

In late 2023, Adams began openly integrating his Christian faith into his online identity, citing a conversation with an rideshare driver that led to a personal religious awakening. This transition prompted him to change the tone of his online content and adopt the biblical name GiDeon on a secondary channel dedicated to faith-based topics.

Before finding full-time success online, Adams worked at Lowe's and as an Uber Eats delivery driver to support his content production. He launched his main YouTube channel on July 2, 2018, initially publishing gaming videos centered on Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto, alongside challenge videos and high school vlogs.

His channel gained rapid momentum throughout late 2020 and 2021 as he pivoted toward public reaction comedy and social experiments. By August 2021, his channel surpassed one million subscribers, propelled by viral prank videos set in college lecture halls and retail stores.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, Adams became widely known for staging elaborate public stunts at high-profile sporting events and institutions. In March 2022, he crashed a life sciences lecture at Harvard University. Later that year, he was removed from both an NBA game and the men's final of the 2022 US Open for receiving haircuts in the spectator stands. In July 2022, he was ejected and banned from Wimbledon after blowing an air horn to disrupt a quarterfinal tennis match between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic, and in July 2023 he received a lifetime ban from NBA and WNBA events after falling asleep during a WNBA game.

His streaming career also sparked several notable clashes. In January 2022, Twitch banned Adams after he directed his viewers to spam streamer Pokimane's chat with 'L + RATIO.' Following an apology, his Twitch channel was reinstated in May 2024 after an 832-day suspension. His stunts also led to legal encounters: in April 2023, he was arrested on a trespassing warrant in Harris County, Texas, after disrupting a classroom at the University of Houston with collaborator Damilola Onakoya. Later that month, he staged a stunt with British YouTuber Niko Omilana at the Louvre in Paris, hanging a portrait of himself near the Mona Lisa.

In September 2023, Adams announced he was stepping away from prank videos, removing the majority of his previous catalog to align his work with his Christian beliefs. In 2024, he resumed posting on his main channels with a new focus on amateur civilian sting operations targeting individuals attempting to solicit minors online, operating under the banner EDP Watch.

Working alongside collaborators such as Skeeter Jean and Schlep, the operations use adult decoys posing as minors to gather chat logs before staging in-person confrontations and handing evidence to local law enforcement. Adams stated that these investigations have aided police departments across numerous states, though the operations have also drawn criticism from some law enforcement officials and television host Chris Hansen over concerns regarding vigilante tactics, procedural integrity, and public safety.
