Berleezy

Berlin Edmond Jr. was born on December 16, 1992, in California. He grew up alongside his older sister, Britani, who also became a video creator on YouTube. During his youth and college years, he developed an interest in digital media and comedic storytelling.

He attended California State University, Fullerton, where he majored in English literature. While pursuing his degree, he served as the president of the university's Black Student Union, balancing student leadership responsibilities with writing and producing his earliest digital video projects before graduating with his bachelor's degree in 2017.

Berleezy launched his primary YouTube presence in 2013, initially posting comedic skits and reaction videos. His major breakthrough arrived in 2015 after he shared a clip on Twitter roasting the opening theme of the animated television series Hey Arnold!. The clip quickly went viral, prompting him to develop a dedicated format called Exposed.

In the Exposed series, Berleezy provided humorous, high-energy critiques of opening sequences and characters from popular children's animated programs, including Dora the Explorer, Kim Possible, and Phineas and Ferb. The format rapidly expanded his audience, propelling his main channel past the one million subscriber mark in 2017.

In 2016, Berleezy expanded his focus to video games, launching dedicated gaming content on YouTube and streaming regularly on Twitch. He built a reputation around playthroughs of indie horror titles, interactive narrative adventures, and multiplayer games. A line from his 2019 playthrough of the horror game Corpse Party gained renewed viral popularity in February 2021 when TikTok users repurposed the audio clip during severe winter storms in Texas.

His gaming presence led to high-profile collaborations within the gaming and esports industry. In 2022, four-time Grand Slam tennis champion Naomi Osaka joined Berleezy on Twitch to unveil her custom in-game Fortnite outfit. That same year and in 2023, he participated in State Farm's interactive creator competition series, The Gamerhood, competing alongside prominent streamers such as Ninja.

Berleezy transitioned into voice acting by contributing to the episodic psychological horror franchise Fears to Fathom. He voiced Jeffery, the eccentric host of an in-game animated cooking show, in both Fears to Fathom: Carson House (2023) and Fears to Fathom: Woodbury Getaway (2024). In February 2026, he won the inaugural NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Digital Content Creator in the Gaming/Tech category.

Beyond solo content, Berleezy is a member of Somebros, a creator collective featuring collaborators Joe Iaco, PG (PeeGTV), JoJoThaMoFo, Rico the Giant, Krystalogy, and ImDontai. The group frequently produces collaborative gaming sessions, challenges, and vlogs. He also co-hosts The Speakeezy podcast with Joe Iaco and PeeGTV.

His community of supporters is known as the Eezy Gang, which also serves as the namesake for his clothing and lifestyle brand. To engage directly with his audience, he established the Eezy Ball, an organized series of live social events for fans. Outside the entertainment sector, he partnered with his sister Britani to invest in and operate a family business in the commercial trucking industry.
