Braxton Keith

Keith wrote his first song when he was seven and began playing piano and learning music theory in kindergarten. He later learned guitar and developed a strong interest in classic country music, citing Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard, Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams, Bob Wills, and George Strait among his heroes.

While living in a college dorm room in Lubbock, Keith was encouraged by a roommate to write and record original music. The experience sparked what he calls the "honky tonk bug" and redirected his ambitions toward a career in music. He spent his early performing years playing bars and nightclubs across Texas, both acoustically and with a full band.

Keith has two younger brothers, whom he has described as smart and athletic. He has also connected his distinctive mustache to sibling rivalry, explaining that he grew it during the COVID period while trying to compete with his brothers' facial hair.

Keith's music is rooted in Texas honky-tonk and neo-traditional country. His style incorporates shuffles, waltzes, steel-driven melodies, clean hooks, and the high-and-lonesome twang associated with classic country, while retaining a modern production approach.

His single "Cozy" became a major breakthrough after gaining attention on TikTok. Keith held the song for almost eight months before its wider release, and its slow-dance structure, bluesy electric figure, and warning about a romantic rival helped introduce his sound to a broader audience. The song was written with Andrew Scott Willis and produced by Alex Torrez and David Dorn.

The Blue EP was released on December 6, 2024. Its songs include "Cozy," "Under Them Neons," "Let Me Love You More," "A Little Bit Closer," and "Cold Hard Steel and Sand." His later work has continued to explore traditional country forms, including the releases "Little Bit by Little Bit," "I Ain't Tryin'," and "I Own This Bar."

Keith built his reputation through sustained live work in Texas before expanding his touring footprint. He has sold out dates in Florida and performed to crowded venues in California and Arizona, while continuing to divide his time between San Antonio, Nashville, and the road.

In 2025, he logged more than 130 shows and supported Cody Johnson, Gavin Adcock, and Luke Bryan. Luke Bryan's Country Song Came On Tour featured Keith as a rotating special guest, including the August 1, 2025 concert at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. Keith also extended his own headlining This Ain't My First Tour.

His touring has included theaters, clubs, amphitheaters, and major country events. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut and was scheduled to perform at Stagecoach as he continued bringing his live show to venues across the United States.

Keith's shows typically move from shuffles into ballads and finish with energetic barroom songs. Recurring selections have included "Honky Tonk City," "Memories Die," "Gonna Come Back as a Country Song," "Chase You Down," "Let Me Love You More," "Cozy," and "Under Them Neons."

He has also performed covers such as Eddie Rabbitt's "Drivin' My Life Away" and Johnny Paycheck's "Slide Off Your Satin Sheets." Keith has said that his approach to performing is shaped by his own memories as a concertgoer, with an emphasis on creating memorable moments and connections among people in the crowd.

In August 2025, he paused an Oklahoma performance after repeated objects were thrown onto the stage and ended the show early after warnings about audience safety.

Keith's official biography identifies Real Damn Deal as a 15-track debut album spanning Texas honky-tonk, Western swing, and other classic country styles. The project is presented alongside songs about love, loss, and everyday life, delivered with a dancehall-oriented energy.

He earned his first RIAA gold certification for "Cozy" and continued writing and recording material designed to cover a broad range of country traditions. Keith has described his ambitions as including old-school traditional songs, acoustic pieces, waltzes, fast honky-tonk numbers, and modern country tracks.

His work has also included the single "Bye In A Goodbye" and preparations for a full-length project. His recording career has included Torrez Music Group and Warner Music Nashville, while Evergreen Artist Group represents him for touring.
