Tommie Lee

Atasha Chizaah Jefferson was born in Newark, New Jersey, and later moved with her family to Atlanta, Georgia, during her teenage years. Her childhood nickname, "Tomboy Tash," helped inspire the stage name Tommie Lee.

She did not graduate from high school and later obtained a GED. Before entering reality television, she worked as a concert promoter.

Lee first appeared on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in a cameo during the show's first season, attending Rasheeda's listening party. She returned as a supporting cast member in the fifth season and was promoted to the main cast for seasons six and seven. Her season-five storyline included her relationship with rapper Scrapp DeLeon and conflicts involving Tiarra and Karlie Redd.

Lee became one of the franchise's most prominent cast members. The sixth season followed the launch of her wine brand, Lè Don, while the seventh season focused on the effects of her struggles with alcohol on her work and family relationships. She left the series in 2019, describing her experience as involving personal difficulty and depression.

Lee later appeared in Leave It to Stevie, Love & Hip Hop: New York, and other reality television specials. In 2022, she appeared in the Baddies West auditions and subsequently joined the Baddies franchise, including Baddies West and later Baddies productions.

Lee pursued music alongside her television career. Her debut single, "Payback," was released in 2017, followed by tracks including "Cheat on Me," featuring Blac Youngsta, "Imma Get It," featuring Spice, and "Truth," featuring Anthony Hamilton.

Her later releases included "Pressure," "No Cap," "Real One," "Yea Hoe," and "What You Gon Do." She also appeared on the cover artwork for Migos' single "Bad and Boujee."

Lee has faced several criminal cases and arrests. In 2016, Joseline Hernandez obtained a temporary restraining order against her during the filming of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Lee later gave differing accounts of the incident, first acknowledging an attempt to hit Hernandez with her car during a reunion episode and later disputing Hernandez's account.

In 2018, Lee was arrested in connection with an incident involving one of her daughters at a school. She later pleaded guilty to first-degree cruelty to children, three counts of simple battery, family violence, and disrupting a public school. She received a 10-year sentence, with two years to serve and the remainder on probation, subject to completion of a residential recovery program and aftercare.

Lee has two daughters, Samaria and Havalli. Samaria was born on July 20, 2003, and Havalli was born on November 5, 2005.

Lee has discussed her struggles with alcoholism and has attended rehabilitation. Her 2019 documentary, Truth, followed aspects of her personal life, including her efforts to overcome challenges and maintain relationships with her daughters.

Lee made her film acting debut in True to the Game 3 (2021), playing Coco. Her television credits include Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Leave It to Stevie, Love & Hip Hop: New York, Baddies West, Baddies USA, and WTF Tommie Sht*.

She also appeared in the television programs The Conversation, The Real, Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee Uncensored, and Ms. Pat Settles It.
