Sofia Franklyn is an American podcast and radio host known for co-creating the advice and comedy podcast Call Her Daddy. After leaving the show in 2020, she launched her own podcast, Sofia with an F.

Personal life

Franklyn was raised in Utah by her single mother, who immigrated from Argentina. Her father, a Spaniard, entered her life when she was in high school.

She announced her engagement on September 1, 2025.

Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper

After college, Franklyn worked at Morgan Stanley before pursuing podcasting. In 2018, she and her roommate, Alex Cooper, created Call Her Daddy, an advice and comedy podcast that discussed relationships, sex and modern dating. Barstool Sports acquired the podcast one month after its first episode was released.

The show grew rapidly, with downloads increasing from 12,000 to 2 million in two months. Franklyn and Cooper later entered contract negotiations with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy. Franklyn left Call Her Daddy in 2020 after she and the company failed to reach an agreement.

Sofia with an F

Franklyn launched Sofia with an F in October 2020. The podcast covers personal experiences, relationships, womanhood and aspects of her childhood in Salt Lake City.

Her work has also included guest appearances on Sex Sells, Impaulsive with Logan Paul, One Night with Steiny and Selling Sunset.

Writing and memoir

Before co-hosting Call Her Daddy, Franklyn wrote a blog for Barstool Sports. Her first article for the site discussed her sexual experiences in her hometown and helped establish the humorous, candid style associated with her later podcast work.

Simon & Schuster announced her memoir, Daddy Issues, in February 2026. The book is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026, and Franklyn is set to voice its audiobook.
