Peyton List

Peyton List has been in a relationship with her Cobra Kai co-star Jacob Bertrand since 2022. They first met while working on the Disney Channel film The Swap in 2015.

List has a twin brother, actor Spencer List, and a younger brother, actor Phoenix List. She was born to Suzanne and John List, and moved with her family from Florida to New York when she was four.

List began her career as a child model and appeared in advertisements for American Girl dolls and Justice clothing. She was featured on the cover of American Girl magazine's 2009 Back to School issue and later modeled for Justice magazine. Her commercial work included more than 400 advertisements.

Her early screen appearances included uncredited roles on As the World Turns and Spider-Man 2, as well as a role on All My Children. She appeared as the young Jane Nichols in 27 Dresses in 2008, followed by roles in Remember Me, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Bereavement, and the television film Secrets in the Walls.

List became widely recognized for playing Holly Hills in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. Her performance as part of the ensemble in Dog Days contributed to a Young Artist Award win for Best Performance in a Feature Film by a Young Ensemble Cast in 2013.

In 2011, she began playing Emma Ross on the Disney Channel sitcom Jessie, alongside Debby Ryan and Karan Brar. She continued the role in the spin-off Bunk'd, appeared as Emma in other Disney programs including Austin & Ally, and co-hosted the healthy-eating program Pass the Plate with Karan Brar. List also starred with Jacob Bertrand in The Swap in 2016.

List moved toward more mature roles with the thriller film The Thinning and its sequel, The Thinning: New World Order. She played Olivia Richmond in the Hulu supernatural series Light as a Feather, appeared in Then Came You, and voiced Barbara Gordon, also known as Batgirl, in the animated film Batman: Hush. In 2018, she released the single "Liar Liar."

She joined Cobra Kai as Tory Nichols in its second season, later becoming a main cast member. Her subsequent film work includes Valley Girl, Hubie Halloween, Paper Spiders, Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman, The Friendship Game, A Little White Lie, Girl Haunts Boy, and The Inheritance.

List leads School Spirits as Maddie Nears and also serves as an executive producer on the series. In 2026, she made her Off-Broadway debut as Heather Chandler in Heathers: The Musical.

List shares her name with another American actress, Peyton List, so she has also used the professional name Peyton R. List. The two actresses once appeared in the same scene on As the World Turns.

The actresses later voiced different characters in Batman: Hush. The younger List voiced Batgirl, while the other Peyton List voiced Poison Ivy.
