Harry Kane

Harry Kane has been married to Katie Goodland since 2019. They have four children, including Ivy Jane, Vivienne and Louis Harry Kane.

Kane grew up alongside his brother Charlie. His father, Pat Kane, was born in Galway, and Kane was eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland through his father's nationality.

Kane was raised in Chingford, east London, after being born in Walthamstow. He began playing football with Ridgeway Rovers at a young age and also played for Gladstone Rangers and his school team. At eight, he joined the Arsenal academy, but Arsenal released him after a year. Three years later, after a brief period with Watford, he was invited to join Tottenham Hotspur's youth academy.

Kane signed his first contract with Tottenham on his 16th birthday. He developed through loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City. At Leyton Orient, he scored five goals in 15 appearances, while his performances for Millwall helped him win the club's Young Player of the Year award.

Kane made his Tottenham debut against Hearts in the Europa League in August 2011. His Premier League debut came against Newcastle United during the 2012-13 season, and he scored his first Premier League goal in April 2014. In 2014-15, he scored 31 goals in 51 appearances and won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Kane scored 213 Premier League goals for Tottenham and surpassed Jimmy Greaves to become the club's leading goalscorer. In January 2018, he overtook Teddy Sheringham to become Tottenham's record Premier League goalscorer. He also became the first Tottenham player to score 30 goals in a season since Gary Lineker when he reached 31 in 2014-15.

Kane reached 30 Premier League goals and 41 goals in all competitions during the 2017-18 season. His back-to-back hat-tricks against Burnley and Southampton helped him score 39 Premier League goals in the 2017 calendar year, surpassing Alan Shearer's previous record.

He won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2015-16 with 25 goals and claimed a third Golden Boot in 2020-21. During that 2020-21 season, he also won the Premier League Playmaker award after recording the league's most assists.

Kane scored his 200th goal for club and country during the 2020-21 season. His Tottenham career also included reaching the Champions League final.

Kane represented England at every youth level before making his senior debut in 2015. He scored 79 seconds after coming on in a Euro 2016 qualifier. In June 2017, he captained England for the first time in a World Cup qualifier against Scotland, scoring a stoppage-time equaliser in a 2-2 draw.

Kane was appointed England captain for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He scored six goals to win the tournament's Golden Boot, becoming the second England player to receive the award after Gary Lineker. England reached the semi-finals and finished fourth.

At Euro 2020, Kane led England to the country's first major tournament final in 55 years. During the tournament, the England team took the knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, while Kane wore a rainbow captain's armband during Pride month.

England were eliminated by France in the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after Kane missed a late penalty that could have levelled the match. At Euro 2024, England again reached the final but lost to Spain.

Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham in 2023, ending a 19-year association with Spurs. He made his Bayern debut in the DFL-Supercup and scored on his Bundesliga debut against Werder Bremen.

In his first Bundesliga season, Kane scored 36 goals, more than any other striker in Europe's top divisions that season. He also became the first player in Bundesliga history to score 17 goals in his first 11 games.
