Bhad Bhabie entered the Billboard Hot 100 at age 14 with her 2017 debut single These Heaux, making her the youngest female rapper ever to debut on the chart. She quickly followed with platinum-certified tracks Hi Bich and Gucci Flip Flops before earning a 2018 Billboard Music Award nomination for Top Rap Female Artist.

Personal life

Danielle Marie Bregoli was born in Boynton Beach, Florida, to Barbara Ann Bregoli and Ira Peskowitz. Her parents separated during her infancy, and her mother raised her in a Catholic household. She grew up estranged from her father, a deputy with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, though they later reconnected.

Bregoli dated rapper Le Vaughn from 2020 until early 2025. In March 2024, she gave birth to their daughter, Kali Love. Later that year, Bregoli posted and subsequently removed security footage accusing Vaughn of domestic violence. Following a shooting incident involving Vaughn in Los Angeles in March 2025, Bregoli moved away from California citing safety concerns after an attempted break-in at her home.

In November 2024, Bregoli revealed that she had been diagnosed with a form of blood cancer and had begun chemotherapy.

Dr. Phil and early controversies

In September 2016, Bregoli and her mother appeared on an episode of Dr. Phil focusing on family conflict and adolescent behavioral issues. During the taping, an irritated remark directed at the studio audience sparked an immediate viral catchphrase. The clip spawned a chart-placing remix by DJ Suede The Remix God, dance videos, and widespread internet memes.

Following the television appearance, Bregoli spent time at Turn-About Ranch, a youth facility in Escalante, Utah. In July 2017, she pleaded guilty to charges including grand theft, filing a false police report, and cannabis possession, receiving a sentence of five years of probation. That probation concluded early in March 2018 after she retained new counsel.

Years later, Bregoli spoke out about her time in Utah. In March 2021, she published a video alleging physical and psychological mistreatment by staff at Turn-About Ranch. The claims prompted public exchanges with television producers and led her to collaborate with Paris Hilton to campaign against abuse in troubled-teen facilities.

Recording career and 15

Bregoli began her recording career under the management of Adam Kluger in early 2017. Her August 2017 debut single, These Heaux, peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its success led to a recording contract with Atlantic Records.

Her momentum grew quickly. Follow-up single Hi Bich achieved gold and later platinum status from the RIAA. In March 2018, she released Gucci Flip Flops featuring Lil Yachty, which charted on the Hot 100 and earned a platinum certification. Bregoli launched a headlining tour across North America and Europe alongside Asian Doll before releasing her debut mixtape, 15, in September 2018. The project featured guest appearances from Ty Dolla Sign, YG, Lil Baby, and City Girls.

In 2019, Bregoli expanded into digital programming with the Snapchat docuseries Bringing Up Bhabie. She continued releasing collaborative singles, including Babyface Savage featuring Tory Lanez and Bestie featuring Kodak Black. In September 2021, she established her independent label, Bhad Music, and returned to the charts in 2025 with the single Ms. Whitman.
