2015-2019: Beginnings

Carson joined 808 Mafia as a rapper in 2015 after meeting record producer TM88. He began releasing music on SoundCloud in 2017 and gained attention in Atlanta's underground rap scene.

At its Brooklyn launch event, Carson performed several songs alongside Destroy Lonely before bringing out Playboi Carti.

The deluxe edition of A Great Chaos added seven tracks, including "Overseas." The song became Carson's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at number 79, while "Freestyle 2" received a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Carson released More Chaos on April 11, 2025, and it became his first album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
