Salley Carson

Carson first entered reality television in 2022 as a contestant on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor. She left shortly before the first-night limo arrivals, which took place on the same weekend as the wedding she had planned before calling off her engagement. Carson told Echard that her heart was not ready to continue with the process.

She later appeared on the eighth season of Bachelor in Paradise, leaving during the second week. Her time on the series included a connection with Joe Bradley, which ended after he learned that Carson had not been truthful about kissing Gaston Rojas.

Carson graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She entered the medical field and began working for Medtronic in February 2019 as a clinical specialist.

Her role at Medtronic has been described as Hybrid Robotic and Core Spinal Representative. She works with spinal robotics and surgical procedures, combining her science background with medical-device engineering.

Carson joined the cast of Southern Charm for its tenth season in 2024, becoming part of the show's Charleston social circle alongside Madison LeCroy, Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, Venita Aspen, Taylor Ann Green, and other cast members. Her television credits also include appearances on Southern Hospitality and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Her introduction to Southern Charm centered partly on her connections to Taylor Ann Green and Gaston Rojas. Carson had previously dated Rojas, who later dated Green, and the two women addressed that overlapping romantic history on the show. Carson's Bravo biography also presents her as a Charleston socialite who works in spinal robotics by day and enjoys an active social life.

Outside television and medical-device work, Carson has expressed an ambition to own a clothing store. She has also been characterized by personal preferences that became part of her reality-TV profile, including a strong dislike of cotton balls and an enthusiasm for hot tubs.

Carson grew up with Southern traditions, including cotillion and debutante activities as a teenager. She later moved to Charleston after obtaining her position in spinal robotics.
