Ni-ki is a Japanese singer and dancer known as a member of the South Korean boy band Enhypen. He gained prominence after finishing in fourth place on the 2020 reality survival competition I-Land before debuting as the group's youngest member and main dancer.

Early life and pre-debut dance background

Born Nishimura Riki in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, Ni-ki began dancing at the age of three by teaching himself routines inspired by Michael Jackson. At age five, he enrolled in a dance academy and began formal training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. He later trained and led workshops at LEAD Entertainment, a dance studio operated by his family.

During his childhood in Japan, Ni-ki performed under the stage name Riki Jackson. In 2014, he was selected through an audition to train with Japanese dancer Kento Mori and appeared in a Sony commercial. By 2015, he was chosen to perform in a Michael Jackson tribute piece choreographed by Travis Payne. In 2017, Ni-ki performed alongside the K-pop group SHINee as part of the "SHINee Kids" child dance troupe during their Shinee World 2017 dome tour in Japan, and he appeared in the music video for the pop duo Yuzu's single "Tatta".

In August 2019, at age 13, Ni-ki moved to Seoul, South Korea, to pursue training as a K-pop idol under Belift Lab. He lived independently in Seoul for eight months while developing his performance skills and learning Korean.

Competition on *I-Land* and debut with Enhypen

In June 2020, Ni-ki was introduced as a contestant on the CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment reality survival show I-Land. Throughout the competition, he stood out for his rapid choreography memorization and technical dance ability. On the live finale on September 18, 2020, he placed fourth overall after receiving 1,140,718 global votes, securing his position in the final seven-member lineup of Enhypen.

Ni-ki officially debuted with Enhypen on November 30, 2020, upon the release of their debut extended play Border: Day One. Serving as the group's main dancer and maknae, the youngest member, he participated in the group's subsequent studio albums and world tours, including their Manifesto tour.

Choreography, hosting, and solo dance projects

Beyond group recordings, Ni-ki has contributed directly to Enhypen's performance direction, helping choreograph the routine for "Bite Me", the lead single of the group's 2023 EP Dark Blood. In April 2022, he partnered with bandmate Jungwon for Studio Choom's MIX & MAX performance series, dancing to "Bleeding Darkness".

Ni-ki expanded into broadcasting by serving as a regular radio DJ for the Japanese program Enhypen's All Night Nippon X from 2021 to 2022. On May 14, 2023, he co-hosted KCON Japan 2023 as a special MC alongside Ryujin of the girl group Itzy. In May 2024, Studio Choom selected him as their Artist of the Month, featuring his solo dance performance set to songs by Connor Prince and Kendrick Lamar. Later that year, on December 31, 2024, he reunited on stage with SHINee member Taemin at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon to perform a duet of Taemin's track "Guilty".
