Jennifer Meyer

Jennifer Meyer was previously married to actor Tobey Maguire. They married in Kona, Hawaii, in 2007, separated in 2016, and finalized their divorce in 2020. They have two children, daughter Ruby Sweetheart Maguire and son Otis Tobias Maguire.

Meyer announced her engagement to Geoffrey Ogunlesi in 2024. Their daughter, Meyer's third child and first with Ogunlesi, was born in June 2026. Meyer has described maintaining a close co-parenting relationship with Maguire, including celebrating holidays, birthdays, and traveling together with their children.

Meyer began making jewelry with her grandmother Edith Meyer, who taught her how to create enamel jewelry when Meyer was six years old. After studying child and family psychology at Syracuse University, Meyer returned to Los Angeles and worked in public relations and fashion, including positions with Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani.

She returned to jewelry making and created her eponymous line in 2003. In 2004, she designed her trademark leaf-shaped 18-karat gold charm, which represents turning over a new leaf. Her company, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, produces rings, charms, pendants, necklaces, and other pieces.

Meyer's national breakthrough came in 2006, when a Hollywood stylist selected one of her leaf pendants for Jennifer Aniston to wear in The Break-Up. The exposure helped establish Jennifer Meyer Jewelry and led to distribution through luxury retailers including Barneys New York and Net-a-Porter.

Meyer's heart-shaped locket was worn by Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man 3. In the film, the locket is given to Mary Jane's character by Peter Parker, played by Tobey Maguire.

Meyer was named Jeweler of the Year in Us Weekly's 2007 Hot Hollywood Style issue. Jennifer Meyer Jewelry received an award from the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2012, and Meyer was nominated for the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessories Design in 2013.

In 2015, Meyer designed the wedding ring for Jennifer Aniston's marriage to Justin Theroux. That year, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry collaborated with Barneys New York on the twelve-piece Barneys New York XO Jennifer Meyer ready-to-wear collection. Meyer opened her first brick-and-mortar boutique in 2018 and launched e-commerce through her website.

In response to the Woolsey Fire in Malibu, Meyer donated 25 percent of one week of her company's online and in-store sales to Baby2Baby, which supported families affected by the California fires. She also serves as a board member of the Los Angeles-based nonprofit.
