Brooklyn McKnight

Brooklyn Victoria McKnight grew up in Utah with her twin sister, Bailey McKnight, and their younger siblings. Their parents, Mindy and Shaun McKnight, featured Brooklyn and Bailey as hair models on Mindy's YouTube channel, Cute Girls Hairstyles, beginning when the twins were 18 months old. Brooklyn's sister Kamri Noel McKnight also became a YouTuber.

Brooklyn and Bailey announced in 2018 that they would attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where they studied entrepreneurship. They graduated a year early in May 2021. In April 2022, Brooklyn graduated as a Master Esthetician from the Skin Science Institute of Laser & Esthetics in Utah.

Brooklyn and Bailey launched their joint YouTube channel in March 2013 after first appearing on Cute Girls Hairstyles. The channel developed around fashion, beauty, do-it-yourself projects, vlogs, skits, pranks, and teen interests. In 2015, the sisters also launched Squared, a twins-focused channel and web series featuring seven sets of twins from North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

The twins entered the music industry in 2017 in partnership with producer Benny Cassette. Their releases included “Dance Like Me,” “SiMPLE THiNGS,” and “What We're Made Of.” “Dance Like Me” charted on iTunes, and the sisters later took their music on a 16-city DigiTour in 2017. They also collaborated with Peter Hollens on a cover of “A Life That's Good Can Be Bad.”

Brooklyn and Bailey won the Kids and Family category at the 2017 Streamy Awards and were finalists in the YouTube Musician category at the 2018 Shorty Awards. Their business projects have included the Lash Next Door mascara and accessories brand, later expanded into apparel, as well as skincare and wellness products through ITK. In 2023, Brooklyn and Dakota Blackburn opened Sip City, a soda shop in Dallas, Texas.

Brooklyn met Dakota Blackburn during a “10 Dates in 10 Days” YouTube series in August 2020. They began dating in June 2021, became engaged in April 2022, and married on September 30, 2022. They welcomed their first child, a son, in January 2025.

Brooklyn and Bailey's close creative partnership has remained central to their public work. Their family-oriented content has also included their siblings Kamri Noel, Rylan, Daxton, and Paisley McKnight.
