
Virginia Williams is an American actress known for playing C.J. Harbenberger in the Netflix sitcom Fuller House. She is also known for portraying Lauren Reed in the USA Network series Fairly Legal and Charity Callahan in the CW's Charmed reboot.
Personal life
Virginia Williams married talent and literary manager Bradford Bricken on December 31, 2007. They have two sons, Bradford Powell Bricken, born in 2015, and Beau Rush Bricken, born in 2017.
Williams and Bricken live in Los Angeles with their children.
Training and daytime television debut
Williams began her acting education in New York and earned a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Fordham University in 2000. She later studied Shakespeare at Oxford University and the British American Drama Academy in London.
She made her professional acting debut as Lorna Van Skyver on the ABC daytime soap opera One Life to Live, a role she played from 1995 to 1996. She later portrayed Brandy Taylor on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns from 2001 to 2002.
From *Monarch Cove* to *Fairly Legal*
Williams moved from daytime soaps into primetime roles, including the lead role of Bianca Foster on Lifetime's Monarch Cove. She also appeared as Claudia in five episodes of How I Met Your Mother and took roles in Honeymoon with Mom and Comedy Central's Strangers with Candy.
In 2011, she began playing Lauren Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal. Her television work also included guest and recurring appearances on The Mentalist, Rules of Engagement, Better Off Ted, Lie to Me, In Plain Sight, Two and a Half Men, Veronica Mars and Drop Dead Diva.

Williams played C.J. Harbenberger in the Netflix sitcom Fuller House, appearing in seasons 2 through 5. She portrayed Charity Callahan, a powerful Elder and friend of Harry Greenwood, in the first season of the CW's Charmed reboot from 2018 to 2019.
In 2020, Williams played the dual roles of Debbie Wesley and Dana in the Netflix comedy series Teenage Bounty Hunters. She also appeared as Grace in the second season of Why Women Kill, Ashley in Modern Family, and Leah Ramsey in NCIS.
Film, music and commercial work
Williams appeared in films including The Lodger, 10 Rules for Sleeping Around, Woodlawn, The Culling, Honeymoon with Mom and Revenge of the Bridesmaids. She played Caitlin McNabb in Revenge of the Bridesmaids and Debbie in Woodlawn.
She performed lead female vocals on the soundtrack for the independent film Choosing Signs. Four of her songs were included on the 2020 Oscar list of 75 songs in contention for Best Original Song. Williams was also the first spokesperson and face of La Fresh, an eco-friendly beauty line.
