Travis Scott

Travis Scott was born Jacques Bermon Webster II and spent part of his early childhood living with his grandmother in South Park, Houston. He later moved to Missouri City to live with his parents. His father and grandfather were soul and jazz musicians, and his mother is Wanda Webster. He has a sister named Jordan Webster and a brother named Joshua.

Scott began dating Kylie Jenner in April 2017. They had a daughter, Stormi Webster, in February 2018, separated in October 2019, and later welcomed a son, Aire Webster, on February 2, 2022.

Scott began making music as a teenager and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio before leaving college to pursue music. He moved to New York and then Los Angeles, where he met T.I. and was hired as a producer by Kanye West's GOOD Music label. He made his mainstream arrival through Kanye West's Cruel Summer compilation in 2012 as a co-producer and featured artist.

His debut EP, Owl Pharaoh, was released in 2013, followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His first studio album, Rodeo, arrived in 2015 and reached number three on the charts. The album included “Antidote,” which began a run of platinum singles and earned Scott a BET Hip Hop Award in 2016. He once proposed releasing Rodeo on a USB packaged with action figures, but the label rejected the idea.

Scott followed Rodeo with Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight in 2016, the collaborative album Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho with Quavo in 2017, and Astroworld in 2018. Astroworld produced “Sicko Mode,” his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. He performed the song during the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show and won the Top Streaming Song award at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.

His later releases include the Cactus Jack compilation JackBoys in 2019 and Utopia in 2023. Scott has collaborated with artists including Kid Cudi, Drake, Rihanna, Rosalía, Young Thug, M.I.A., and Big Sean. His stage name combines the name of a favorite uncle with Scott Mescudi's first name, while Kid Cudi's real name is Scott Mescudi.

Scott became known for a personal style that combines streetwear with high fashion. His sneaker partnerships have included Nike Air Force 1, Nike Air Jordan, and Helmut Lang, and his collaborations have helped establish him as a streetwear figure.

In November 2018, Saint Laurent announced Scott as the face of its Spring/Summer 2019 campaign. The fashion house produced the music video for “Can't Say,” with creative director Anthony Vaccarello providing the wardrobe. Scott's association with Saint Laurent began with a short film in 2016. He also developed the Cactus Jack brand and worked with McDonald's, Sony's PlayStation 5 campaign, Nike, and other companies.
