Sky Katz

Katz discovered her talent and passion for rapping at age 5. Her musical style has been described as dynamic, witty, and energetic, with an old-school hip-hop influence. She has cited Nicki Minaj, Drake, Nas, and Rakim among her influences.

She competed on the eleventh season of America's Got Talent, performing the singles "Fresh" and "Haters" and advancing to the Judge Cuts. Katz also played basketball while growing up in Long Island and competed on three traveling teams. She later became a National Ambassador for Sunrise Association.

Katz began her acting career as Tess O'Malley on Disney Channel's Raven's Home, a spinoff of That's So Raven. She played the role as a main cast member during seasons 1 through 4 and returned as a guest star in the show's sixth season.

On Raven's Home, Katz starred alongside Raven-Symoné. Her performance earned a 2021 Daytime Emmy nomination in a children's-program performance category.

Katz starred as Summer Torres in the Netflix series Surviving Summer. The first season premiered in June 2022, and the series returned for a second season in 2023.

The role expanded Katz's television work beyond the Disney Channel. She appeared in 18 episodes of the series and filmed in Australia.

Katz released her debut single, "For Da Summer," in 2017. Her subsequent releases include "Fall Back," "Like This" featuring Lil Tjay, "Saucy," "Crushin," "Breakup Song," and "P.O.S." She also appeared as a featured artist on Jules LeBlanc's 2019 song "Who You Are."

Her music has been associated with pop, R&B, and pop rap. She contributed to the soundtrack of the 2019 live-action Kim Possible film and has also worked with Joel Madden of Good Charlotte and Nick Anderson of The Wrecks.

In addition to her television roles, Katz voiced Emily in the English dub of The Imaginary. She was cast as Violet in One Stupid Thing and has been credited in the projects The Florist, My New Friend Jim, Pride of Texas, Game On, The Internship, and The Gatekeeper.

Her other television and special appearances include Bunk'd, Far from Raven's Home, Home & Family, and several Disney Channel music videos and specials.
