Quenlin Blackwell

Blackwell was raised in a predominantly white suburb of Dallas after moving from Cincinnati at about age three. She has described the transition as traumatic and said that growing up in Texas often felt isolating as a Black woman. Her mother, Danita Johnson, has appeared in some of her videos, and Blackwell has spoken about maintaining a close relationship with her mother, sisters, extended family, and father through phone calls while he was in prison.

Her brother, Jairyn Blackwell, died in a shooting in Springfield Township, Ohio, in May 2024. Blackwell later shared the news with her online audience. She has also identified internet personality Larray as her cousin on her father's side, and the two have collaborated on social media content.

Blackwell said that she was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder at age 15. She has also discussed having anorexia and said that online criticism intensified her eating disorder in 2018. She came out as bisexual in 2018.

Blackwell began posting videos online as a child and created her first YouTube channel at age eight. She established a wider audience on Vine in 2015, when she was 14, using the username quensadilla. Her short comedy videos often centered on physical humor and deliberately chaotic situations.

A video of Blackwell falling while performing a cheerleading stunt became her first major viral success, receiving more than five million views in 24 hours. She finished her time on Vine with more than 500,000 followers and later described the style of her early videos as “freak content.”

After Vine shut down, she built audiences on Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. A 2018 video of Blackwell screaming became a popular 2019 Twitter meme, paired with an image of reality television personality Ms. Juicy. Her YouTube channel developed around comedy, beauty videos, vlogs, reaction videos, and fan interactions.

Blackwell has appeared in television and online productions alongside other internet personalities. She was a guest on The D'Amelio Show and competed in the 2021 YouTube Originals reality series No. 1 Chicken, hosted by FaZe Rug. She was also nominated for Breakout Creator at the 11th Streamy Awards.

Her screen work includes an appearance in Latina Rules and a guest role on Rachel Sennott's HBO comedy series I Love LA. She appeared in the music video for SG Lewis and Lucky Daye's “Feed the Fire” in 2020 and in Charli XCX's “360” in 2024. She also appeared in JT's “90s Baby” music video.

Blackwell hosts Feeding Starving Celebrities, a YouTube interview and cooking series in which she prepares food for guests including Larray, Lil Nas X, Lil Yachty, PinkPantheress, Addison Rae, and the Sturniolo Triplets.

Blackwell signed with United Talent Agency in 2021 and made her runway debut for Off-White during Paris Fashion Week in March 2024. She later modeled for campaigns connected with brands including Savage X Fenty, Charlotte Tilbury, Glossier, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Old Navy, and SKIMS. She also appeared in Halsey's beauty campaign for About-Face.

In October 2025, Blackwell walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She had previously said that she initially thought the invitation was a joke and that she wanted to approach the opportunity with childlike excitement. She also hosted GQ Men of the Year in 2025.

Blackwell launched the clothing brand Riquera in December 2023. Her growing profile in fashion and online entertainment led to appearances on creator and young-talent lists published by Time, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, Variety, and Complex.
