Offset

Offset is the father of six children with four different women. His first child, son Jordan, was born to Justine Watson in 2009. In 2015, he welcomed son Kody with Oriel Jamie and daughter Kalea with Shya L'Amour. His first four children appeared together on the cover art for his 2019 solo album Father of 4.

In early 2017, Offset began dating fellow rapper Cardi B. The pair married privately on September 20, 2017, later staging a public engagement proposal during a concert in Philadelphia the following month. Together, they have three children: daughter Kulture, born in July 2018; son Wave, born in September 2021; and daughter Blossom, born in September 2024. After previous separations and reconciliations, Cardi B filed for divorce in August 2024.

Offset grew up in Gwinnett County, Georgia, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. Although the members grew up regarding one another as cousins, a 2023 interview clarified that Offset is not biologically related to Quavo and Takeoff. The trio began performing together in 2008 under the name Polo Club before renaming themselves Migos.

Migos achieved commercial breakthrough in 2013 with the release of their viral single "Versace", followed by their debut studio album Yung Rich Nation in 2015. In late 2016, the group released "Bad and Boujee", featuring Lil Uzi Vert, with Offset performing the lead verse. The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, propelling their 2017 album Culture to the top of the Billboard 200. Migos followed with Culture II in 2018 and Culture III in 2021 before disbanding following Takeoff's death in November 2022.

In October 2017, Offset joined rapper 21 Savage and record producer Metro Boomin on the collaborative studio album Without Warning. The project debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and produced the multi-platinum single "Ric Flair Drip", marking Offset's first major commercial success as a solo lead artist. In 2018, he earned further chart success as a featured artist on Tyga's diamond-certified single "Taste" and Kodak Black's "Zeze".

Offset released his debut solo studio album, Father of 4, through Motown and Capitol Records in February 2019. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and spawned the single "Clout", featuring Cardi B, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. In October 2023, he released his second studio album, Set It Off, led by singles including "Jealousy" and "Say My Grace". He expanded his solo catalog in 2025 with his third studio album, Kiari, and the mixtape Haunted by Fame.

Beyond music, Offset made his acting debut with a guest role as Kadri Kashan Khan in a 2020 episode of the television series NCIS: Los Angeles. He also voiced the character Offshark in the 2023 animated film Baby Shark's Big Movie and appeared as himself alongside Migos in the television series Atlanta.

Offset has pursued various commercial and philanthropic endeavors. In August 2019, he became an investor in the esports organization FaZe Clan and appeared in several digital features with their gaming roster. Having lost his grandmother to bladder cancer in 2012, Offset led a fundraising campaign in 2022 that raised $500,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Offset encountered several legal disputes during his career. During Migos' initial commercial rise in 2013, he was incarcerated in DeKalb County Jail for probation violations stemming from prior burglary and theft charges. In April 2015, all three members of Migos were arrested following a concert at Georgia Southern University. Offset remained in custody for eight months before being released in December 2015 after entering an Alford plea to incitement charges.

On April 6, 2026, Offset was wounded in a shooting following an altercation outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Memorial Regional Hospital and was discharged several days later.
