Mikki Mase

Mikki Mase is also known as Michael David Meiterman and used the name Mike earlier in life. His other public aliases include Dirty Goth Boi, Mickey Mase, Micki Mase, Miki Mase, Mikki Gambler, and Seth Moss. Seth Moss originated as an on-set joke connected to his appearance in When It Rains in LA rather than as a name he regularly uses.

Mase built much of his public identity around dark clothing, tattoos, high-stakes gambling, and the social-media handle @dirtygothboi. His face became widely public after rapper Drake posted him on social media, bringing greater attention to his gambling career and online persona.

Mase was exposed to gambling at an early age through family card games and private card rooms around New York City. He has also been described as a champion motocross racer and a New Jersey state champion wrestler during childhood.

Before his entertainment career, he worked a range of jobs, including positions at a tattoo shop, in demolition, and on Wall Street. He later worked at drug treatment centers and eventually received ownership interests in related businesses. His public accounts of this period also include addiction, homelessness, and time in juvenile and correctional facilities.

Mase became known for claiming that he had developed an advantage-based approach to baccarat. His public gambling persona centers on studying casino games, analyzing risk, and maintaining emotional distance from wins and losses. He has also appeared in televised and livestreamed poker games, including Hustler Casino Live and Live at the Bike.

His social-media presence helped establish gambling influencing as a recognizable online genre. Mase has coached celebrities in gambling, including Lil Baby, Odell Beckham Jr., and Kevin Hart. He also appeared in the November 2022 edition of Inked magazine.

Mase later became associated with online-casino auditing focused on game integrity. His public profile has included claims of being banned from many casinos, although his gambling record and explanations of his baccarat strategy have been the subject of public debate.

Mase's acting work includes Trafficked with Mariana Van Zeller (2020), Big Bet Poker (2022), Hustlers Gamblers and Crooks (2024), and When It Rains in LA (2025). In Hustlers Gamblers and Crooks, he appears as himself. The project began with a pilot filmed in two days and became a television series after attracting network interest.

Mase played the lead bar character, Seth, in When It Rains in LA. During the film's premiere, producer John Sillup mistakenly stuttered over Mase's name, inspiring the Seth Moss joke. Mase has described the role as an enjoyable filming experience.

Producer Mike Soccio hired Mase as a gambling consultant for Luck Box, a planned gambling film associated with Will Smith, with the aim of improving the accuracy of its gambling scenes. Mase was later considered for an appearance in the film, but the project was shelved during the period surrounding the Writers Guild of America strike.
