
Michele Morrone is an Italian actor and singer known for playing Massimo Torricelli in the 365 Days film trilogy. He is also known for the album Dark Room, which includes songs featured in the first film's soundtrack.
Personal life
Morrone was married to Lebanese stylist Rouba Saadeh from 2014 to 2018. They had two sons together, one born in 2014 and the other in 2017.
His parents, Angela and Natale, moved with their children from Bitonto to Melegnano, Lombardy, when the children were young. His father died in 2003, when Morrone was 12.
From Italian television to 365 Days
Morrone began acting professionally in 2011 as Riccardo in the three-episode web series Second Chance, directed by Piergiorgio Seidita. He later appeared in Italian productions including Come un Delfino, Provaci Ancora, Squadra Antimafia, Sirene, Renata Fonte, The Trial and Medici. In 2016, he finished second in the eleventh season of the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars.
He played Luigi in the 2019 film Bar Giuseppe before gaining international recognition as Massimo Torricelli, a mafia crime boss, in 365 Days. The film became available on Netflix in June 2020, and Morrone signed a three-year contract to appear in the two films that completed the trilogy, 365 Days: This Day and The Next 365 Days, both released in 2022.
His later film roles included Marcello Bianchini in Duetto, Nick in Subservience, Dante Versano in Another Simple Favor, Mek in Home Sweet Home: Rebirth, and Enzo in The Housemaid. He is also attached to projects including Maserati: The Brothers, in which he plays Alfieri Maserati.
Music and AurumRoma
Morrone is a singer and guitarist who taught himself to play guitar at 25 by watching YouTube videos. He released his debut studio album, Dark Room, on 14 February 2020 through Universal Music and Polydor Germany. Several songs from the album appear on the official 365 Days soundtrack, including "Feel It" and "Watch Me Burn".
The music video for "Feel It" features scenes with Anna-Maria Sieklucka, who played Laura Biel in 365 Days. Morrone followed Dark Room with the album Double in 2023 and has released music videos including "Hard For Me", "Beautiful", "Another Day" and "Push Me".
In August 2020, he launched AurumRoma, a women's beachwear brand. He designed the clothing with fashion designer Chiara Pollano, while the company was run by Spazio Arcó.
