Marshawn Lynch

Marshawn Lynch began dating Charmaine Glock in 2015.

His football family connections include his cousin Josh Johnson, who was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2008, and his cousin JaMarcus Russell, who was selected first overall by the Oakland Raiders in 2007.

Lynch attended Oakland Technical High School, where he earned SuperPrep All-American honors and was named the San Francisco Chronicle's East Bay Player of the Year in 2003. During that season, he recorded 1,722 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns in eight regular-season games, followed by 375 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in two postseason games. He also played defensive back and recorded 20 interceptions as a senior.

At the University of California, Berkeley, Lynch became the starting running back in 2005 after serving as J.J. Arrington's primary backup as a freshman. He was named MVP of the 2005 Las Vegas Bowl after rushing for 194 yards and three touchdowns. In 2006, he was named Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year and earned first-team All-Pac-10 and AFCA All-America honors. He finished his college career with 3,230 rushing yards and holds California's record for 100-yard rushing games, with 17.

The Buffalo Bills selected Lynch 12th overall in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he became the Bills' first 1,000-yard rookie rusher since Greg Bell in 1984, finishing with 1,115 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

Buffalo traded Lynch to the Seattle Seahawks in 2010. In the 2011 playoffs, he produced a 67-yard touchdown run against the New Orleans Saints in which he broke nine tackles. The crowd reaction was recorded as seismic activity at a monitoring station near the stadium, and the run helped Seattle win 41-36.

Lynch rushed for 1,204 yards and 12 touchdowns in the 2011 season, both career bests at that point. He scored a rushing touchdown in 10 consecutive games, breaking Seattle's franchise record of nine previously set by Shaun Alexander. Lynch later played for the Oakland Raiders from 2017 to 2019 and returned to the Seahawks in 2019.

Lynch has acted in television and film, including appearances in The League, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Murderville, 80 for Brady, and Bottoms. In Bottoms, he played Mr. G, a role he initially felt uncertain about accepting.

He also appeared as himself in entertainment projects and received producer credits on projects including the short film Code Switch. His acting credits include the television series Euphoria and the films Freaky Tales and Love Hurts.
