Keon Coleman

Coleman grew up in Opelousas, Louisiana, where he was raised by a single mother alongside two brothers and two sisters. He attended Opelousas Catholic School, competing at a high level in both football and basketball throughout his high school career.

His athletic versatility drew scholarship interest across the country. Coleman committed to Michigan State University with the rare opportunity to compete in both NCAA Division I football and men's basketball.

Coleman began his collegiate football career with Michigan State in 2021. As a true freshman wide receiver, he appeared in 10 games and recorded seven receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. Following the football season, he joined the Spartans basketball team under head coach Tom Izzo, making appearances in six games during the winter campaign. In 2022, Coleman established himself as the primary passing target for Michigan State's football program, leading the team with 58 receptions for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.

In 2023, Coleman transferred to Florida State University to join the Seminoles. He produced a dominant junior campaign, catching 50 passes for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns while contributing significantly on special teams. He made conference history by earning First-Team All-ACC honors at three distinct designations: wide receiver, all-purpose player, and specialist. He joined running back Will Shipley as the only two players to receive first-team recognition at three positions in a single season. After leading Florida State through an undefeated regular season, Coleman declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Coleman was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 33rd overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, after the team traded back from their original first-round slot. In his regular-season NFL debut against the Arizona Cardinals, he led Buffalo in receiving with four catches for 51 yards. In Week 3, he caught his first career touchdown pass against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Coleman recorded his first 100-yard receiving game in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans, posting 125 yards on four receptions and winning the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week award. Despite missing time later in the year due to a wrist injury sustained against the Miami Dolphins, he finished his rookie regular season with 29 receptions for 556 yards and four touchdowns.

In the 2025 season opener, Coleman delivered a key performance in Buffalo's 41-40 comeback victory against the Baltimore Ravens, catching eight passes for 112 yards and a touchdown. Outside of competition, he launched a personal foundation that hosts an annual coat drive providing winter clothing and stadium tours to members of the Boys and Girls Club of Buffalo.
