Kayte Walsh

Kayte Walsh is an English actress and film producer known for playing Gwendolyn Archer in the television drama Boss. She is also known as the wife of actor Kelsey Grammer and the mother of their four children.

Marriage to Kelsey Grammer and family

Walsh met Kelsey Grammer in December 2009 while she was working as a flight attendant on his flight to London. They announced their engagement in December 2010 and married at New York City's Longacre Theater on February 25, 2011. They held a second wedding ceremony at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas 15 months later.

Walsh and Grammer have four children: daughter Faith Evangeline Elisa, born in 2012; sons Kelsey Gabriel Elias, who goes by Gabriel, born in 2014; Auden James Ellis, known as James, born in 2016; and Christopher, born in October 2025. The couple had originally been expecting twins before losing the boy during the pregnancy.

Their relationship began while Grammer was still married to Camille Grammer. Walsh and Grammer discussed the circumstances of their relationship in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Work in television

Walsh worked as a producer and camera assistant on television programs including The ½ Hour News Hour and Tabatha's Salon Takeover.

In 2011, she acted in Grammer's political drama Boss, appearing as senator's aide Gwendolyn Archer. She returned for another episode in the show's second season. Grammer starred in Boss as Tom Kane and also served as an executive producer.

Family background

Walsh was born in England to Susan Walsh and Alan Walsh. Her father was an English professional footballer who played for and later coached Bristol City Football Club.
