Jill Wagner

Wagner married David Lemanowicz on April 8, 2017. Lemanowicz is a former minor-league hockey player and a U.S. Army Reserve major. The couple first met in North Carolina when Wagner was 17 and Lemanowicz was 20, then reconnected years later during Wagner's 2015 USO tour in Afghanistan and again in Los Angeles in 2016.

Wagner and Lemanowicz have two daughters together, Army Gray Lemanowicz and Daisy Roberta Lemanowicz. Lemanowicz also has an older daughter, Lija, from a previous relationship. Wagner experienced complications after Daisy's birth in 2021 and credited her husband with supporting her through the aftermath.

Wagner was raised primarily by her father, David Wagner, a former U.S. Marine, and her paternal grandmother after her mother's death. She and Lemanowicz moved from Los Angeles to a renovated 1912 farmhouse in Tennessee, where they raise cattle, grow crops and live with their children.

After graduating from North Carolina State University with a business management degree in 2001, Wagner moved to California to pursue modeling and entertainment work. She joined MTV's Punk'd in 2003, becoming the program's first female regular sketch performer and appearing opposite Ashton Kutcher. Her early television credits also included Monk, Dr. Vegas, Quintuplets and Bones.

Wagner became a regular cast member of Blade: The Series in 2006, playing Krista Starr, and later appeared in Stargate Atlantis. She also worked as the Mercury Milan brand's featured spokesmodel from 2006 to 2011. Her best-known hosting role began in 2008, when she became the on-field host of ABC's competition show Wipeout. She left after the fourth season to focus on acting, then returned as co-host for the show's sixth season and remained with the program through its run.

Wagner played Millicent in the independent film Junebug and starred as Polly Watt in the 2008 horror film Splinter. The film gave her a leading feature-film role and developed a cult following. She later appeared in Road to Paloma, Super Novas and the action film Braven, in which she starred opposite Jason Momoa.

On MTV's Teen Wolf, Wagner played Kate Argent, a ruthless hunter and one of the show's primary antagonists. Although Kate was killed in the first season, the character returned in later storylines. Wagner also hosted Wolf Watch, the official Teen Wolf after-show, and presented Teen Wolf Revelations.

Beginning in 2015, Wagner built a substantial body of made-for-television work, including Autumn Dreams, Christmas Cookies, A Harvest Wedding, Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle, Pearl in Paradise and Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa. She later appeared in productions for Great American Family, including A Merry Christmas Wish, Bringing Christmas Home, Christmas Under the Northern Lights and Christmas at the Inn.

Wagner played Professor Amy Winslow throughout the Mystery 101 film series, beginning with the 2019 original and continuing through Mystery 101: Deadly History and Mystery 101: Killer Timing in 2021. Other television films from this period included Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses, Hearts of Winter, The Angel Tree and A Christmas Miracle for Daisy. She also served as an executive producer on several of these projects.

Wagner hosted Handcrafted America from 2015 to 2017. The INSP series followed her as she traveled across the United States to meet artisans who made traditional products by hand. She also hosted Inside the Vault and appeared as a host or guest on programs including Wolf Watch and Home & Family.

In Paramount+'s Special Ops: Lioness, Wagner plays Bobby, the team leader of an undercover group of female CIA operatives. She helped bring the project to Taylor Sheridan, who had previously been her acting coach, and served as an executive producer on the series. Wagner's interest in the military-focused drama was shaped by her upbringing in a military family and by conversations with Lemanowicz about the real-life Lioness program.
