Javon Walton

Javon Anthony Walton was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and began boxing at the age of four. He was homeschooled for much of his childhood to accommodate his boxing schedule, using online schooling to balance training and education.

Walton has a fraternal twin brother, Jaden, an older sister named Jayla, and a younger brother named Daelo. His father, DJ Walton, is a boxing coach and founded the athletics apparel company Onward Athletics, while his mother is named Jessica. Walton's nickname, Wanna, came from his childhood habit of saying, "I wanna do this" and "I wanna do that."

Walton appeared on the Steve Harvey talk show in 2017, where he demonstrated his boxing skills and performed a handstand on the host's desk. He made his acting debut in 2019 as Ashtray on HBO's Euphoria, a role that brought him widespread attention. His younger brother Daelo played the young version of Ashtray in the series.

He played Grant Bishop in the Amazon series Utopia and voiced Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family 2. Walton later appeared as Stan in the third season of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy and played Sam Cleary opposite Sylvester Stallone in Samaritan. In 2024, he starred as Warren Glowatski in the Hulu miniseries Under the Bridge.

Walton developed a competitive boxing career alongside his acting work. He became a five-time Georgia State Champion and a four-time USA Boxing Southeast Regional Champion. He also won state championship titles in both boxing and gymnastics and pursued the goal of competing in the 2024 Olympic Games.

In July 2023, Walton signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. He fought Joshua Torres in a four-round bout in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which ended in a majority-decision draw. Walton later defeated Erik Hanley by majority decision in a rescheduled four-round bout in Orlando and beat Anthony Mora by unanimous decision in a six-round fight in Montreal.

Walton's athletic achievements brought him recognition beyond boxing. Under Armour identified him at age eight as one of seven athletes selected for its NEXT program, and he appeared in the company's Will Finds A Way campaign alongside Dwayne Johnson.

He was featured in an advertising campaign for the Muhammad Ali Collection in 2018. In 2022, Walton became the youngest person signed to Brand Jordan.
