Grant Cardone

Grant Cardone has been married to actress Elena Rosaia Lyons since July 4, 2004. They have two daughters.

Cardone and Elena are Scientologists and have been major donors to the Church of Scientology. He has also been a consistent supporter of Donald Trump, who headlined Cardone's 10X conference in 2022.

After graduating from McNeese State University with an accounting degree, Cardone moved away from accounting and began working in automobile sales. He first worked for a sales training company, traveling from Lake Charles to Houston and then to La Jolla, California, where he lived for 12 years. He later became president and CEO of Freedom Motorsports Group Inc.

Cardone founded Cardone Training Technologies and Cardone Capital. His other business interests have included Cardone Group, Cardone Enterprises, Cardone Real Estate Holdings and Cardone Acquisitions. Cardone Capital purchases and manages multifamily rental properties and sells shares in pooled real estate investments.

In late 2024, Cardone launched a bitcoin real estate fund. He has promoted his business and investment ideas through social media, sales training programs, speaking engagements and the 10X Movement.

Cardone has written business and sales books including Sell or Be Sold, The 10X Rule, The Closer's Survival Guide, If You're Not First, You're Last and Sell to Survive. If You're Not First, You're Last became a New York Times bestseller in 2010, while Sell or Be Sold received an Axiom Award.

His customized sales training programs have been used by companies including Google, MIT, Toyota, T-Mobile, AT&T, Morgan Stanley, Aflac and Chrysler. He has appeared on Fox News, Fox Business, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN and Fox & Friends, and was featured on the National Geographic Channel program Turnaround King.

Cardone also created Grant Cardone TV, an entrepreneur television network with programs including Whatever It Takes, Cardone Zone, Power Players, Young Hustlers, The G&E Show and Ask the Pro.

Former employees of Cardone Training Technologies filed religious discrimination complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in 2015 and 2016. The complaints concerned allegations that employees were dismissed after refusing to take Scientology training courses presented under the name “L. Ron Hubbard training.”

A client sued Cardone and Cardone Capital in 2020 over investment communications and potential violations of Securities and Exchange Commission regulations. A federal district court dismissed the claims, but the United States Court of Appeals later reversed that decision, ruling that social-media communications used to solicit securities investors could be actionable under the Securities Act. An amended complaint was filed in 2023.

A 2022 investigation into the Wellington Club apartment complex in the Miami area found that tenants in a workforce-housing program had been overcharged. Cardone Capital owned the complex during the period examined.
