In late December 2021, an unauthorized user breached and hijacked both EvanTubeHD and The Tube Family. The hacker unlisted existing videos, changed channel branding, and broadcast an unapproved livestream. YouTube subsequently terminated the main channel for community guideline violations.
The family appealed the automated takedown. YouTube reinstated the channel in January 2022 after confirming the account compromise.
