Ryan Kaji

Ryan Kaji began appearing on YouTube in 2015, when he was three years old, on a channel originally called Ryan ToysReview. The channel later became Ryan's World and developed from toy unboxings and reviews into games, science experiments, travel videos and other children's programming.

Ryan's World grew into a multi-channel franchise with nine YouTube channels and licensed products sold internationally. Its broader media work includes an animated superhero identity called Red Titan and a streaming presence alongside its main YouTube content.

The video "GIANT Lightning McQueen Egg Surprise with 100+ Disney Cars Toys" became a breakthrough for Ryan's channel. It featured a papier-mâché egg containing toy cars and became the channel's most popular video for two years, eventually surpassing one billion views.

The success of the video helped establish Ryan's World within the children's unboxing genre. The channel's informal presentation, bright visuals and emphasis on play became central features of its appeal to young viewers around the world.

Ryan expanded from YouTube into television with Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, a show carried by Nick Jr. The series was Emmy-nominated and helped develop Ryan's World as a recognizable children's media brand beyond online video.

He also appeared in Super Spy Ryan on Amazon Kids+. The franchise developed additional educational content, including science-focused videos, while continuing to include toys, games and imaginative play.

Ryan’s World The Movie: Titan Universe Adventure was released in United States theaters on August 16, 2024, after screening at the Cleveland International Film Festival earlier that year. The approximately 80-minute film combines live action and animation and places Ryan in a comic-book-inspired adventure.

Directed by Albie Hecht, the film marked Ryan's World’s move onto the big screen. It was made available through platforms including Hulu, Prime Video, The Roku Channel, Fandango and Apple TV+.
