Emma Heming Willis

Emma Heming Willis married actor Bruce Willis in Turks and Caicos on March 21, 2009. Because that ceremony was not legally binding, they held a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills six days later. They have two daughters, Mabel Ray Willis and Evelyn Penn Willis, and Heming Willis is also stepmother to Willis's three older daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis, from his marriage to Demi Moore.

Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2022. In August 2025, Heming Willis revealed that they were living in separate homes, explaining that a separate one-story home was better suited to his changing care needs.

Heming Willis began modeling in the early 1990s after winning The Big Breakfast competition titled “The British Elle Supermodel.” She later worked as a spokesmodel for La Senza and appeared in advertising campaigns for Dior Bronze, Escada, Gap, Garnier, Intimissimi, John Frieda, Palmers, and Redken.

Her magazine covers included editions of Elle, Elle Décor, Glamour, Shape, Town & Country, and W. She also walked in runway shows for fashion houses and brands including Christian Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, and Victoria's Secret. In 2005, Maxim ranked her 86th on its “Top 100” list.

Heming Willis made her screen debut in Perfume in 2001, playing Model #3. She later appeared as Donna in Perfect Stranger and Megan in The Comebacks, both released in 2007.

Her other acting credits include an episode of Entourage and the film Red 2, in which she played Kelly. She also appeared as herself in The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and the television film Bruce Willis: Why the Legend Never Dies.

After Bruce Willis's diagnosis, Heming Willis began advocating for dementia awareness, caregiver support, and research into frontotemporal dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. The couple publicly shared his diagnosis through a statement with the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration on February 16, 2023. Her advocacy emphasizes reducing stigma and helping care partners find information, community, and practical support.

Heming Willis founded the skincare brand Coco Baba in 2016 and collaborated with Bruce Willis on fragrances, including the Lightning Collection. In 2023, she and Helen Christoni founded Make Time, a wellness brand focused on brain health. Her memoir, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Hope and Purpose on the Caregiving Path, was published on September 9, 2025, and reached number two on The New York Times Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous best-seller list.
