Cassandra Iturralde

Iturralde began her acting career with a local theatre company in Mexico. Her early stage work gave her experience with live performance, character development, memorizing lines and connecting with an audience.

She later transferred that foundation to television, building a screen career across drama, fantasy, crime and comedy productions.

In 2019, Iturralde landed her first recurring television role in Los elegidos, playing Blanca across 33 episodes. The fantasy drama gave her an opportunity to develop a continuing character and helped establish her as a young performer in Mexican television.

The series received four nominations at the 2020 Premios TV y Novelas. Iturralde was part of the ensemble cast during this early period of growing recognition.

Iturralde played Mariana in the television series Demon, appearing in 10 episodes between 2018 and 2020. The role was among the earliest sustained credits of her screen career and required her to maintain a character across an extended television run.

Her other early credits included the film Emma and appearances in productions such as Inalcanzables and Capitán Barbanegra.

In 2020, Iturralde played Eugenia Niña in the television miniseries La Negociadora, appearing in 12 episodes. She co-starred in the production with Marcela Guirado, adding experience alongside established Mexican television performers.

Her subsequent work included the crime series Natural Born Narco, in which she played Ximena Niña and Ximena Letrán Niña across eight episodes. She also portrayed Refugios Fernández Gómez Niña in El Rey, Vicente Fernández.

Iturralde played Sofía Echegaray in the Netflix comedy series The Manny, appearing in 26 episodes. Sofía is the daughter of Jimena, a character played by Sandra Echeverría.

The series expanded Iturralde's audience beyond Mexican television and introduced her work to viewers through a global streaming platform. The role highlighted her work in comedy as well as her ability to bring warmth and relatability to a young character.

Alongside her acting work, Iturralde has developed a substantial TikTok following through the account @cass_iturralde_. Her content includes comedy sketches and lifestyle videos, and the account has attracted more than 1.1 million followers and 46 million likes.

She also uses the Instagram account @cassandraiturraldev to share updates related to her professional projects and public profile.

Iturralde was raised alongside her parents, Adrián Iturralde and Vera Velázquez, and her brothers Rodrigo and Iñaki. Her family supported her interest in acting as she began pursuing performance at a young age.

She was raised in Mexico and identifies with Mexican cultural traditions and the Roman Catholic faith.
