Brent Rivera

Brent Rivera was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, and attended Huntington Beach High School. His parents are John and Laura Rivera, and his siblings include Brice Rivera, Blake Rivera, and Lexi Rivera.

Rivera's younger sister Lexi is also an influencer. The siblings appeared together in the web series Brobot, where Rivera played G.I.L. and Lexi was part of the cast.

Rivera created his YouTube channel in 2009 and began posting to Vine in 2013. He first gained broad attention on Vine through short comedic sketches and relatable videos, eventually attracting more than eight million followers on the platform before it shut down.

He later developed his self-titled YouTube channel around comedy, vlogs, challenges, and collaborations. His videos have also featured creators including Ben Azelart, Alan Stokes, Alex Stokes, and Lexi Hensler. Rivera's online work has included the long-running series Brent Rivera and the web series Dream Vacation.

Rivera made his film acting debut as the title character in the teen comedy Alexander IRL, released in 2017. He also produced the project. In 2018, he appeared as Gil Brat in the web series Brobot.

From 2018 to 2019, Rivera played Isaac Salcedo in the Hulu series Light as a Feather. He later appeared as himself on Nickelodeon's Group Chat and continued working behind the camera as a producer, director, and writer on digital projects.

Rivera co-founded Amp Studios, a talent incubator and digital content group, and serves as its chief executive officer. The company works with creators and brands on developing online audiences and content businesses.

In 2021, Rivera started the pop-culture podcast So Relatable. His brand partnerships have included Coca-Cola's #MakeItHappy campaign, Hollister Co.'s anti-bullying campaign, Amazon Music, Hasbro, and Activision. He won the Creator Honor Award at the 2020 Streamy Awards and received additional Streamy and Teen Choice Award nominations.
