Ashley Holt

Ashley Holt was born in Georgia and has lived in California, Kentucky, New York and Tokyo. She has described Connecticut as her home.

She welcomed a daughter named Chloe in 2018.

Holt modeled for Bravo Models for four months in 2006 before signing with New York Models, where she worked from 2006 to 2008. She later moved from fashion into cake artistry and pastry.

She served as the executive pastry chef at The Louisville Country Club in Kentucky and went on to establish Sugar Monster Sweets, a cake and baking business.

Holt won the third season of TLC's Cake Boss: Next Great Baker, taking the grand prize in the competition. Her victory gave her the opportunity to work alongside Buddy Valastro at Carlo's Bakery.

She also won Food Network's Chopped and the New York Cake Show. Her other competition appearances include strong finishes on Food Network's Dessert Games and FYI's Cake Fest.

Holt was a cake decorator and baker on the sixth season of Cake Boss. She later appeared on Netflix's Bake Squad, where she was credited as a contestant and appeared across the 2021 to 2023 run. Her television appearances also include Shark Tank, Buddy's Bakery Rescue, First Time Fixer, Today With Hoda & Jenna and The Elf on the Shelf: Sweet Showdown.

Behind the camera, Holt worked as a culinary producer on Bakery Boss and Cake Boss: Next Great Baker. She has also been a producer for Today Food and The Today Show, while continuing to work as a food stylist and cake artist through Sugar Monster Sweets.
