Leah Kateb

Leah Kateb is the daughter of Afshin and Mina Kateb, Iranian immigrants, and has a sister named Daria. She was born in Los Angeles, California, and her first language was Farsi.

Kateb began a relationship with fellow Love Island USA contestant Miguel Harichi after meeting him during season 6. She lives on a farm with dozens of animals, which she frequently features on her social media accounts.

Kateb made her reality television debut on the sixth season of Love Island USA, entering the villa on the first day. She initially coupled up with Rob Rausch, later paired with Connor Newsum, and chose Miguel Harichi on day 15. Kateb and Harichi ultimately finished as the season's runner-up couple on day 32.

Her early relationship with Rausch became a major storyline, while her direct personality and one-liners helped her attract a large online following. Several of her remarks went viral on TikTok, contributing to increased attention around the show.

Kateb also became closely associated with Serena Page and JaNa Craig. Viewers referred to the trio's friendship as PPG, and their bond became one of the season's most popular off-couple storylines.

Following her season of Love Island USA, Kateb signed with United Talent Agency and received multiple endorsements. She returned to the franchise in Love Island: Beyond the Villa, a Peacock spinoff featuring favorites from season 6.

Her other appearances include Brittany Broski's Royal Court, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and the podcast series What Are We Even Doing? with Kyle MacLachlan. Kateb and Harichi also appeared together in the music video for Lisa's song "When I'm with You."

In 2025, Kateb became Skylar's re-founder and chief creative officer. She released three fragrances with the clean fragrance company, including Double Dates, a scent inspired by her Persian heritage.

Kateb has supported animal adoption through work with Second Chance Rescue and PETA. During Clear the Shelters Month, she helped highlight shelter animals, assisted with removing animals from high-kill shelters, and supported programs designed to help pet owners keep their animals. She has also discussed fostering hundreds of dogs and adopting her dog Blue after initially fostering her.
