Angelique Boyer

Boyer was born to Patrick Boyer and Sylvie Rousseau. When Boyer was two years old, her family moved from France to Mexico. Her mother was born in Mexico City to French parents, and Boyer grew up alongside her older brother, Arnaud.

Boyer has been in a relationship with actor Sebastián Rulli since 2014. The two met through shared television projects and have frequently worked together as on-screen co-stars. Previously, Boyer was in a relationship with producer José Alberto Castro from 2011 to 2014, and dated actor Diego Boneta between 2006 and 2010 after they worked together on Rebelde.

At age eight, Boyer enrolled in Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística, graduating at age twelve. In 2001, she joined the musical group Rabanitos Verdes, which recorded the theme song for the children's telenovela María Belén and performed as an opening act for NSYNC at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

Boyer made her television acting debut in 2004 on Corazones al límite. Later that year, she was cast as Victoria "Vico" Paz in the teen telenovela Rebelde, a role that brought her widespread recognition across Latin America. During the filming of Rebelde, Boyer formed the pop trio C3Q'S with co-stars Estefanía Villarreal and Zoraida Gómez, releasing the single "No Me Importa" in 2005. She followed with supporting roles in telenovelas including Muchachitas como tú, Alma de hierro, and Corazón salvaje, in addition to appearing in the film J-ok'el and the drama series Mujeres asesinas.

In 2010, Boyer earned her first leading role portraying the ambitious title character in José Alberto Castro's telenovela Teresa, starring alongside Aarón Díaz and Sebastián Rulli. Her performance as the cunning protagonist-antagonist gained critical acclaim and earned her the TVyNovelas Award for Best Actress in 2011. Following Teresa, she transitioned to theatre, portraying a nun in the stage production Ausencia de Dios alongside Raquel Olmedo and Jacqueline Andere.

In 2012, Boyer starred as Elisa Castañón in Abismo de pasión with David Zepeda. Producer Angelli Nesma Medina then selected her to lead the 2013 telenovela Lo que la vida me robó, an adaptation of Bodas de odio, in which Boyer played Montserrat Mendoza alongside Rulli and Luis Roberto Guzmán. In 2016, Boyer took on the demanding role of triplet sisters Ana Lucía, Ana Laura, and Ana Leticia in Tres veces Ana, earning another TVyNovelas Award for Best Actress. She followed this in 2018 by starring as Lucía Borges in the supernatural drama series Amar a muerte, winning her third TVyNovelas Best Actress award.

In 2020, Boyer starred as Elisa Cantú in the drama Imperio de mentiras, an adaptation of the Turkish series Kara Para Aşk. In 2021, producer Rosy Ocampo cast her as molecular biologist Renata Sánchez Vidal in Vencer el pasado, a character Boyer briefly reprised in the 2022 series Vencer la ausencia.

Boyer headlined the 2023 telenovela El amor invencible, portraying Leona Bravo. In 2024, she reunited on screen with Rulli to lead the historical fantasy series El extraño retorno de Diana Salazar, playing dual roles across different timelines, before being cast in the title role of the telenovela Doménica Montero.
