Zilla Fatu

Isayah Fatu was born in Houston, Texas, to Edward Smith Fatu and L.T. Fatu. He is the youngest of four children. His father performed internationally as Jamal and in WWE as Umaga before dying in December 2009. Through his father, Fatu belongs to the Anoaʻi wrestling family. His extended family includes cousins Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso.

At 15, Fatu was charged with aggravated robbery. He served six years at the Texas State Penitentiary before his release, with records placing his discharge in March 2020 or March 2022. While incarcerated, he decided to pursue professional wrestling. He converted to Islam in 2022.

Fatu began wrestling training under WWE Hall of Famer Booker T at Reality of Wrestling in Texas. He made his in-ring debut on July 15, 2023, pinning Jonny Lyons at a ROW house show. Three months later, he briefly departed the promotion over creative differences with Booker T. They resolved the issue. Fatu returned to ROW and defeated Edge Stone at Summer Of Champions X on August 10, 2024, to win the ROW Heavyweight Championship, a title he held twice.

Outside Texas, Fatu competed in promotions such as Game Changer Wrestling and House of Glory. In GCW, he formed a tag team with his cousin Jacob Fatu, winning four consecutive tag matches in early 2024 before Jacob signed with WWE. He then teamed with veteran Nick Gage in hardcore bouts. In July 2024, Fatu defeated Carlos Ramirez to win the HOG Crown Jewel Championship. Bully Ray briefly took the belt in a tables match in August 2025, but Fatu regained it a month later. He also challenged AEW World Champion MJF at HOG's No Turning Back event in February 2026 and wrestled on the pre-show of TNA Slammiversary 2025. He dropped the Crown Jewel title to Amazing Red in August 2026 before concluding his independent run.

Fatu made his WWE debut on the August 11, 2026 episode of NXT. He attacked participants during a number one contender match between Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller. His attack ended the bout in a no contest. The disruption led NXT management to add Fatu and Waller to the title match at NXT Heatwave on August 30, 2026. The fatal four-way contest also featured Montana and defending champion Tony D'Angelo, with Waller winning.
