Yulissa Escobar

Escobar was raised in Miami, Florida, by her parents, Suzanne and Tony Escobar. Her mother was born in Cuba and her father was born in Missouri. She grew up alongside three brothers: Tony, Adrian, and Alexis.

After high school, she attended Miami Dade College, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree. In December 2025, Escobar was involved in a physical altercation at a Miami restaurant and was hospitalized with a concussion.

In June 2025, Escobar entered the Fiji villa as one of the original cast members of the Peacock reality series Love Island USA season 7. Upon entering the villa, she coupled up with fellow contestant Ace Greene.

During the second episode, the show's narrator announced that Escobar had left the villa. Her departure followed the resurfacing of video clips from 2021 podcast recordings in which she used a racial slur. She was quietly removed from the production after being pulled aside by a producer, spending two days in a hotel before receiving her phone back. On June 6, 2025, she issued a public apology on Instagram taking responsibility for her language.

Outside of reality television, Escobar has worked across the hospitality, real estate, and finance industries in South Florida. Beginning in 2022, she worked as a VIP services coordinator for the Goat Hospitality Group. She also worked as a loan officer and title specialist at 411 Capital Lenders and ran Aesthetic Events, a mobile bar business based in Miami.

In November 2025, Escobar appeared in the official music video for the single "Quita y Pone" by El Alfa and Fariana.
