Gavin Casalegno

Casalegno married Cheyanne King in late 2024. The couple shared photographs from their wedding ceremony in November of that year, and King has accompanied him to public events. IMDb lists the couple as having no children.

Casalegno previously dated dancer, model, and actress Larsen Thompson from 2016 to 2022. He is also a Christian and a mental health advocate.

Casalegno booked his first modeling job for JCPenney at age four after a family friend suggested that he try modeling. He later appeared in commercials and campaigns for companies including Sony and Papa John's. He began acting at age seven and moved to Los Angeles for larger opportunities, booking his first film project by age eleven.

Because he was a minor, his mother, Allyson Casalegno, managed his work while he traveled for auditions and jobs. His early screen credits included Hear Me Whisper, I Am Gabriel, When the Game Stands Tall, and Dead Still. He also played young Shem in Noah and young Damon Salvatore in an episode of The Vampire Diaries.

In 2021, Casalegno was cast as Jeremiah Fisher in Amazon Prime Video's adaptation of Jenny Han's coming-of-age novel The Summer I Turned Pretty. The series premiered in 2022, with Casalegno in a main role across its three seasons. He also re-recorded the audiobook It's Not Summer Without You as Jeremiah Fisher.

The role became his best-known performance. During this period, he also played Trevor Strand in eight episodes of Walker. In film, he portrayed Joe Jr., the younger version of wrestler Mildred Burke's son, in Queen of the Ring.

Casalegno was credited as Greg in the shark survival film The Devil's Mouth. His listed projects also include The Summer I Turned Pretty Movie, Sunflower Child, and Chasing Red.

Alongside acting, Casalegno has trained with acting coaches and casting directors and has been described as developing emotional range and memorization skills through that study. He grew up playing soccer and has also played volleyball.
