Coco Jones
Coco Jones is an American singer-songwriter and actress known for playing Roxanne "Roxie" Andrews in Disney Channel's Let It Shine. She later gained recognition as Hilary Banks in Peacock's Bel-Air and as the singer of the Grammy-winning R&B song "ICU."
Personal life
Coco Jones has been married to basketball player Donovan Mitchell since August 1, 2026. They announced their engagement in July 2025 after dating for two years.
Early career with Disney
Her early recording projects included the self-titled EP Coco Jones and the 2013 EP Made Of. The latter reached the top 10 of Billboard's Heatseekers chart. She also released the single "Holla at the DJ," toured with Mindless Behavior, and led the UBU-Stop the Bullying concert series.
Independent music and acting roles
In 2021, Jones was cast as Hilary Banks in Bel-Air, Peacock's dramatic reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The series premiered in 2022 and ran through 2025. She also appeared in the films White Elephant and Vampires vs. the Bronx, and later starred in Malcolm D. Lee's psychological thriller Strung, for which she was also credited as an executive producer on the upcoming project That's Her.
What I Didn't Tell You and Why Not More?
Her debut studio album, Why Not More?, was released in 2025 and reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Its songs included "Here We Go (Uh Oh)" and "Taste," while the deluxe edition, Why Not More? (MORE!), featured "Other Side of Love" with Alicia Keys. Jones performed the national anthem at WrestleMania XL in 2024 and released a reimagined version of Princess Tiana's "Almost There" with Disney.

Her other honors include the BET Award for Best New Artist, the Soul Train Award for Best New Artist, and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist. The "ICU" remix with Justin Timberlake also won the 2024 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Soul/R&B Song.
