Christopher Bell

Bell lives in Mooresville, North Carolina, on Lake Norman with his wife, Morgan. The couple married in 2020.

Inside his house sits the race car he drove to his first Chili Bowl championship victory.

Raised in Norman, Oklahoma, Bell showed an early interest in motorsport. He watched local races at age three. By age five, he was asking technical questions about race setups. He started competing locally at I-44 Speedway, traveling to dirt tracks across Tulsa, Claremore, and Fort Cobb before turning ten. At age 12, he decided to pursue racing full-time.

His breakthrough came in midget cars. He caught the attention of Keith Kunz Motorsports, taking the seat previously occupied by Kyle Larson. Success on dirt paved his transition toward stock car racing, leading to three consecutive Chili Bowl titles.

Bell joined Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2015 to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In 2017, he won five races and the Truck Series championship.

He moved up to the Xfinity Series full-time with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2018. That season, he won three consecutive races and set a series rookie record with six victories. He followed with an eight-win season in 2019, finishing third in the championship standings before moving to NASCAR's premier level.

Bell made his Cup Series debut in 2020 driving the No. 95 Toyota for Leavine Family Racing. The following season, he moved to Joe Gibbs Racing to drive the No. 20 car with crew chief Adam Stevens. He won his first premier series victory at the Daytona International Speedway road course in 2021.

In 2022, Bell won playoff races at the Charlotte Roval and Martinsville Speedway to secure his first Championship 4 appearance. In 2024, he won the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. His 2025 season included a $1 million victory in the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, followed by three straight points-paying wins at Atlanta, Circuit of The Americas, and Phoenix Raceway.
