Chris Hughes
Chris Hughes is an English television presenter and reality star known for reaching the final of Love Island series 3 and finishing in third place. He later became a sports presenter for ITV Racing and BBC Sport's coverage of The Hundred, while also appearing in reality, entertainment and documentary programmes.
Personal life
Hughes dated fellow Love Island contestant Olivia Attwood from the series until their relationship ended in early 2018. He was then in a relationship with singer Jesy Nelson from January 2019 to April 2020, followed by a relationship with professional golfer Annabel Dimmock that began in 2021 and ended in June 2022.
Since May 2025, Hughes has been in a relationship with American dancer and media personality JoJo Siwa. They met earlier in 2025 while appearing on Celebrity Big Brother. Hughes is also a supporter of Sunderland A.F.C.
Love Island and Chris & Kem
Hughes entered the third series of ITV2's Love Island in 2017 and reached the finale, finishing in third place alongside Olivia Attwood. His appearance established him as a prominent reality television personality.
Later in 2017, he starred with fellow contestant Kem Cetinay in the spin-off series Chris & Kem: Straight Outta Love Island. The pair also formed the duo Chris & Kem, whose single "Little Bit Leave It" reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart. Hughes and Cetinay subsequently co-presented You Vs. Chris & Kem, which ran for two seasons from 2018 to 2019.
Sports presenting and television work
Hughes presented live horse racing coverage with ITV Racing from 2019 to 2025, including coverage of the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot. He also presented BBC Sport coverage of The Hundred cricket tournament from 2021 to 2025.
His other television appearances include Chris and Olivia: Crackin' On, Celebrity Hunted, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, Queens for the Night, Pointless Celebrities and Celebrity MasterChef. In 2023, he participated in Channel 4's Don't Look Down in aid of Stand Up to Cancer. He appeared as a housemate on the twenty-fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2025 and contributed behind-the-scenes content to BBC coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Health advocacy and writing
In November 2018, Hughes underwent a live testicular examination on This Morning to raise awareness of testicular cancer. He discussed having several operations after discovering a varicocele at the age of 14.
His brother Ben was diagnosed with testicular cancer in January 2019 after checking himself following Hughes's television appearance. Hughes and Ben later appeared together in the BBC Three documentary Me, My Brother And Our Balls, which explored male fertility and testicular cancer. Hughes also became an ambassador for Campaign Against Living Miserably and launched the L'Eau de Chris campaign with Topman to address men's mental health and the stigma surrounding bottled-up emotions.
His debut book, My Life Story: You Bantering Me, was published in 2018.
