Chase Hudson

Hudson was raised in Stockton, California, by his parents, Cole and Tamora Hudson, who both worked as schoolteachers. He grew up alongside two sisters, Karissa and Marlena. During his teenage years, bullying at school pushed him toward online education. He attended Bear Creek High School for his freshman and sophomore years before transferring to an online curriculum. He graduated early in his junior year after taking three additional classes per semester.

His relationships frequently drew public attention. He dated fellow social media personality Cynthia Parker in 2019. Later that year, he began dating creator Charli D'Amelio. The pair split in April 2020. D'Amelio later appeared in the music video for his 2021 single "America's Sweetheart". In 2023, Hudson began a relationship with model Chiara Hovland.

Hudson began posting content on Musical.ly before the platform transitioned into TikTok. He built an audience through lip-sync clips and distinct e-boy styling. In December 2019, he co-founded The Hype House in Los Angeles alongside Daisy Keech, Alex Warren, Kouvr Annon, and Thomas Petrou. The collaborative mansion served as a hub for content creators.

The collective rapidly gained millions of followers across platforms. Hudson signed with talent agency WME as his digital following expanded. He also appeared in the 2021 Hulu docuseries The D'Amelio Show and served as a consulting producer on the 2022 reality series Hype House.

Hudson discovered pop-punk through his sister's iPod, listening to bands like Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, and My Chemical Romance. In December 2020, Interscope Records executive Adam Mersel signed him to the label after hearing early demo recordings. Hudson made his musical debut in January 2021 with the single "21st Century Vampire".

Collaborations with established rock figures followed quickly. He teamed up with drummer Travis Barker to co-write and produce the February 2021 track "The Eulogy of You and Me". In August 2021, he released "Don't Freak Out", featuring Barker, Iann Dior, and Tyson Ritter. His debut album, Teenage Heartbreak, arrived on September 17, 2021.

Hudson made his screen acting debut in the January 2021 film Downfalls High, directed by Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun as a companion piece to the album Tickets to My Downfall. Hudson played the lead role of Fenix alongside Sydney Sweeney. The film drew more than 16 million views during its opening weekend.

He continued taking on screen roles in subsequent years. He appeared in music videos for artists such as Lil Mosey, Larray, and Palaye Royale. Hudson also took on the role of Nate Reed in How to Lose a Popularity Contest, serving as an executive producer on the project, and joined the cast of Perfect Match.
