Family background and education

Bianca Peters was raised in California's inland cities of Chino and Ontario. Her father, Anthony Morales Peters, was a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, and her mother, Patricia Castillo Peters, is an interior designer. She has a sister, Moriah, and a brother, Anthony Ezra.

Peters graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She grew up in a football-oriented family, with an uncle who played professionally and a cousin who also plays the sport. That environment influenced her decision to pursue sports broadcasting.

From College Beat to ESPN

After graduating, she became a host for ESPN's X Games events in Los Angeles. She later co-hosted JUCE TV, a nationally syndicated talk show that covered social, political, and spiritual topics. Her earlier television work included reporting and anchoring roles at KOBI-TV, NBC5, KOTI, FOX 26, and WFOR-TV, where she worked as a traffic anchor and sports reporter from 2016 to 2019.

FOX 5 New York

Peters joined FOX 5 in September 2019. She first co-hosted Good Day Wakeup on weekday mornings before moving to Good Day New York, where she co-hosted the program on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

She later became a co-host of The Noon and The 6 O'Clock News. Her FOX 5 work has included interviews with actors William Abadie and Lucien Laviscount, as well as segments with guests such as Bill Bellamy and New York City mayor Eric Adams.

Sommelier and other projects

Peters is an SSA Certified Sommelier through the Sommelier Society of America in New York. Her interest in wine has also been featured in a FOX 5 segment about her training to become a wine expert.

She has won the Miss Malibu Pageant competition and was among the top 10 finalists in the Miss California contest, both in 2010. Peters has also described plans for a series focused on successful Latinas, presented from a warm and humorous perspective.
