Ximena Sáenz

Sáenz began pursuing acting at six years old, attending summer programs and appearing in stage productions for nearly a decade. Her early performance work was accompanied by competitive gymnastics at a national level, as well as swimming, soccer, and taekwondo.

After completing high school, she auditioned for Centro de Educación Artística in Mexico City, the acting academy operated by Televisa. She advanced through multiple rounds of selection and was accepted from a pool of approximately 3,000 applicants.

Sáenz was raised by a single mother and grew up with an emphasis on schooling, structure, responsibility, and faith. Athletics helped establish a disciplined approach to effort, while her experience with ADHD shaped her persistence and focus.

She immigrated to the United States as a teenager, adapting to changes in language, culture, and daily routines. The move also separated her from competitive sports and contributed to a period of disorientation and depression. During the pandemic, she used the pause to refocus on academics, long-term goals, and the values that had shaped her upbringing.

Faith remained an important part of her outlook. She has described prayer and belief in God as sources of grounding while navigating the comparison, instability, and pressure associated with social media.

Sáenz began her TikTok journey in July 2021, initially sharing dance-based material before developing content centered on lip-syncs, characters, and performance. Her acting background influenced the way she approached short-form videos, and she treated consistency and iteration as important parts of building an audience.

She created her self-titled YouTube channel on July 12, 2022, primarily uploading TikTok videos there. She has also built a presence on Instagram and X, while continuing to express interest in acting and modeling rather than viewing social media as her only long-term direction.
