Sam Golbach

Sam Golbach was in a relationship with pop singer and YouTuber Katrina Stuart from 2016 to 2023. Stuart also collaborated with him in some videos.

He dated actress Katelyn Dunkin in 2024, and that relationship later ended. In August 2025, Golbach made his relationship with Sofie Dossi Instagram official.

Golbach began creating online content while attending high school. He and his friend Colby Brock met as freshman band members during a summer band camp and began making prank videos in malls, local stores and other public places.

In 2014, they launched the joint Vine account Sam and Colby. The account reached its first 10,000 followers in January 2014 and grew to more than one million followers before Vine shut down in early 2017. The pair continued working together on YouNow, YouTube and TikTok after moving on from Vine.

Golbach also runs a self-titled YouTube channel and has published vlogs, live broadcasts and adventure videos. He is the author of Paradise Island.

Golbach and Brock created The Life Project, a video project focused on healthier life skills and engaging online content. The project received attention from the BBC and Huffington Post.

Their later collaborative work expanded into videos exploring allegedly haunted locations in a humorous documentary style. A series launched on August 1, 2023, and their channel has featured videos such as Our Horrifying Night at Haunted Dracula's Castle (Real Vampire), Terrifying Ritual in World's Largest Catacombs and Overnight in Haunted Waverly Hills Sanatorium.

Golbach and Brock won the Teen Choice Award for Choice YouTuber in 2019.

They also received the Streamy Award for Best Action or Sci-Fi Series in 2019, recognizing their collaborative online entertainment.
