McKinzie Roth is an American TV and radio host known for delivering entertainment updates on WISH-TV programs in Indianapolis. She has also worked as a radio co-host, television commercial spokesmodel, and founder of Blonde After Dark.
Personal life
Roth was married to Patrick Roth from 2004 until their divorce, and they have a daughter, Lucy, born in 2010. She also has a son, Oliver, born in 2022, with Liam O'Neill.
Her birth name is Margaret McKinzie, and she has used McKinzie as her professional first name. She is also known by the nickname Kinz.
From Carmel to broadcast journalism
Roth was raised in Carmel, Indiana, and graduated from Carmel High School. She earned a journalism degree from Indiana University's Ernie Pyle School of Journalism.
Her broadcasting career has included work with WISH-TV, KGW, Alpha Media LLC, and Cumulus Media. In Portland, she worked as an entertainment and lifestyles reporter for KGW, an NBC affiliate, before returning to Indiana.

Roth joined the WISH-TV team in Indianapolis in 2020 as an Entertainment Insider. Her work includes bringing Hollywood and entertainment updates to the station's programs Daybreak, Indy Style, and All Indiana.
