McKinzie Roth

Roth was married to Patrick Roth from 2004 until their divorce, and they have a daughter, Lucy, born in 2010. She also has a son, Oliver, born in 2022, with Liam O'Neill.

Her birth name is Margaret McKinzie, and she has used McKinzie as her professional first name. She is also known by the nickname Kinz.

Roth was raised in Carmel, Indiana, and graduated from Carmel High School. She earned a journalism degree from Indiana University's Ernie Pyle School of Journalism.

Her broadcasting career has included work with WISH-TV, KGW, Alpha Media LLC, and Cumulus Media. In Portland, she worked as an entertainment and lifestyles reporter for KGW, an NBC affiliate, before returning to Indiana.

Roth joined the WISH-TV team in Indianapolis in 2020 as an Entertainment Insider. Her work includes bringing Hollywood and entertainment updates to the station's programs Daybreak, Indy Style, and All Indiana.

Her television work also includes appearances connected to the Indianapolis 500. One of her widely viewed videos features her reporting from the event's red carpet.

After her television reporting work, Roth co-hosted the Joe & McKinzie morning show on RadioNOW 100.9 and Houston's 92.1. She has also appeared in television advertisements, including commercials for Andy Mohr's car dealerships throughout Indiana and a 2018 campaign for Cape Coral, Florida, Kia dealer Billy Fuccillo.

Roth is the founder and chief executive officer of Blonde After Dark. She also produces professional and behind-the-scenes content for her McKinzie Roth social-media account.
