Jordan C. Brown met Colton Underwood at a party, and the couple began their relationship in 2021. They became engaged on February 28, 2022, and married on May 13, 2023, at the Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa, California.
In September 2024, Brown and Underwood welcomed their first child, a son named Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood, via surrogate. They announced that Bishop was born on September 26, 2024.

Brown began his political career as a field organizer for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. He later worked with Democratic politicians including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and has been involved in political strategy, policy formulation, legislation, and advocacy.
He founded JCB Consulting Company in June 2010 and later established One Blue Hill, a political strategy agency serving clients in the entertainment, technology, finance, and media sectors. His other professional roles included policy and public affairs director for the Cancer Schmancer Movement, director at Summit Series, senior director at the X PRIZE Foundation, and vice president at SB Projects.
Brown has advocated for LGBTQ+ rights, HIV prevention, and mental health. He has served on the Policy and Advocacy Committee of Global Citizen, as an advisor to Represent Us, and as a board member of LIFT Communities.
Education
Brown attended Stanford University, where he studied political science and English. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2004.
