Jessi Draper

Draper was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah, coming from a family whose ancestors helped establish the city of Draper. She began stepping away from the faith in her mid-twenties after several members of her family left the church.

She was first married to Zac Gish for five years before they divorced. In October 2020, she married Jordan Ngatikaura following an eight-month engagement. The couple formed a blended family comprising Ngatikaura's daughter Peyton from a previous relationship, their son Jagger Zayn (born in April 2020), and their daughter Jovi James (born in January 2023). Both of their shared children were named with nods to music icons Mick Jagger, Zayn Malik, and Jon Bon Jovi.

Following marital difficulties that included a temporary separation and couples counseling, Ngatikaura filed for divorce in March 2026. Draper later began dating reality television personality Marciano Brunette.

Draper started her beauty career by posting hair tutorials and color transformations on YouTube in 2016, where videos such as "Brunette to Blonde: Balayage & Olaplex" earned millions of views. She expanded her online presence to Instagram and TikTok while building her company, JZ Styles.

The business originally took its name from a combination of her first name and her first husband's name, along with inspiration from singer Harry Styles. Following her divorce, Draper retained the brand name and later reattributed the initials to her son, Jagger Zayn. JZ Styles expanded from a Utah-based hair salon into a broad beauty enterprise featuring hair extensions, haircare products, accessories, and JZ Academy, an educational program offering in-person and online hair styling instruction.

JZ Styles is operated as a family business employing Draper's parents and sisters. In 2025, Draper won Page Six's Boss Babe Award in recognition of her entrepreneurial work with the brand.

Draper entered the reality television space after being invited to film for the pilot of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives by castmate Mayci Neeley. She had previously auditioned for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but missed a callback opportunity when the invitation landed in her email spam folder.

On The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Draper was introduced as an ex-Mormon entrepreneur navigating the social dynamics of the Utah-based MomTok influencer circle. In addition to the main series, she made guest appearances on the reality series Vanderpump Villa.

Between seasons of the show, she transitioned to using her maiden name, Draper, professionally. She cited the simpler pronunciation for media appearances and a desire to highlight her family's heritage and business roots in Utah.
